I find Mercado la Acocota to be a typical fresh food market with everything one could expect to find at a Mexican market. I like the availability of fresh vegetables and fruits. These markets are my go-to place when shopping for fresh produce.

Look for Cemitas Juanita, best sammiches in all of Puebla. Super cheap and delicious. The market is okay but if you want to see it all be there before 6pm, many places close around 5-6

This is my favorite Market, you can find ANYTHING here, from meats to cheese, to screwdrivers to fresh and cheap flowers, and of course delicious Cemitas (local sandwiches).

They haveall the groceries that you need. Anf if you're hungry you can eat some delicious semitas.
