This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is still close to tourist areas. Aaron, the manager, was helpful and had a lot of good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The place is cute and the interior patio and pool are well appointed and relaxing. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning. Definitely would stay here again on my next trip to Merida.

Not surprised that this is the leading bed and breakfast in Merida. A place with a lot of love to all the details and the atmosphere is great. The host is super friendly and makes him one of the greatest hosts that we met in Mexico. So if you are planning to stay in Mira then this is the place to go. It is also very close to the centre and you can get there by foot. we will come back and thank you all for this great stay at your place and the great talks. Wish you all the best.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Merida, search no more. This truly is the one you're looking for. We stayed here for 3 nights and we would go back immediately. Amazing, big rooms with the best beds, super friendly service, staff is very interested in your plans for the day and loves giving some extra local tips. And when they breakfast, just amazing. Every day you get something different, fresh as ever. We're going back some day! Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed here for a wedding and jumping off point for exploring Mérida. My 11 month old son, husband and I stayed in the darling casita next door, what a gem ! We didn't end up preparing much food during the day (too much good food nearby) but we looked forward to the delicious homemade breakfast. Aron and the rest of the team were so hospitable, kind, and communicative. We will be recommending this place to all of our friend and family. They had a crib/pack and play we used for our baby, casita came with huge jug of purified water which was great And the neighbohood was a quick 10-15 min walk from all the fun activities in town. Note the beds are on the firmer side but everything else was fantastic. We especially loved dipping into the pool in the hot afternoons to cool off . Don't hesitate to book !! You won't regret it

Location wise is perfect. A lot of Merida places of interest are on walking distance.
It's also located in a quiet place so our nights were relaxing and restful.

The hosts and staff were amazing and really friendly. They had plenty of tips and suggestions on what to do to maximize your stay.

Our room was cozy, bright, full of lovely colors and clean, they also come with AC which is really nice since the weather is very hot.

Breakfast was tasty and fulfilling. There was plenty of coffee to drink.

I definitely recommend this place. Thanks to the owners for making us feel at home.

First I just want to say that I would give 20 stars to this place. !!! I just got back yesterday and this is 11 times in the last 2 years I have stayed here. Its my tranquility away from reality. The owners go out of there way to help you anyway they can and the staff is AMAZING.(I actually became very good friends with all of them). The location is perfect with walking distance to the best of Merida. I wish I had the same bed and pillows they have because I sleep my best there. I always wake up thinking of the breakfast that will be served.(something different everyday). Sometimes I don't even leave the Hotel and just sit by the pool with all the tropical plants around me and relax. Once again, thank you George and Sarah for always making me feel at home. I am planning my next stay there this week!!

This was my first stay in Mérida, the owners George, Sarah and the staff are wonderful people and make you feel welcome, safe, and comfortable! They know the area quite well so if you want to explore They have plenty of suggestions and know local people to help you on your journey.

The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable with AC and ceiling fans. Breakfast is provided each morning and was always delicious during my stay. The B&B is situated close to many areas of interest. Definitely will stay here again in the future!

When we were looking for hotels in Merida I found a good deal with a US corporate chain but my wife booked here and I am glad she did. The owners are expats and they get western standards (not letting mosquitoes own the place). The B&B is very nice and has a unique charm.
The first morning we had to make a 6 AM tour and the owner got up at 5:30 to pack us a 'to go' breakfast that could have fed two more. That was unnecessary but very nice. We would recommend for sure.
I read the one bad review and it is bogus. The pictures are real and there is zero road noise in the rooms. They even have an 'honesty bar' that has honest local prices.

The whole experience at Casa Del Maya was amazing. The hosts are so engaging with the guests, always making sure to be available for any questions or recommendations. The daily breakfast was delicious, and timely. The central location is walkable to most of the main points of attraction. The rooms and premises were thoughtfully designed in the Yucatán style, and made for a very authentic experience overall.

Casa de Maya makes you feel at home! We loved our stay and were pleased with how special the staff made us feel. Aaron took great care of us and provided great suggestions like visiting Hacienda Sotuta de Peón, which was incredible! The owners, Sarah and George, are genuinely one of the sweetest and most down-to-earth people we've ever met. When George heard about our engagement, he was so happy for us; it felt like we were giving the news to a relative. I can't stress enough how lovely Casa de Maya is; if you are visiting Merida, I highly recommend booking your stay here! From the bottom of our hearts, we wish the best to Casa de Maya and all of its future endeavors.

The breakfast was delicious, the surroundings were enchanting, but most of all, the company was FANTASTIC. Sonny, Aron, and the family there are the warmest, sweetest people I have encountered in my travels. The bed is the softest in Yucatan, I slept complete soundly the minute I laid down. The property is full of beautiful plants, bright arts, and a cozy romantic pool. I really didn't want to leave! If you are looking at Merida, book and don't look back. You won't regret it.

Very nice getaway place in Merida. Inside the property is very green like if you are in a jungle. There's a small pool, multiple spots to chill outside. The rooms are clean and tidy. Delicious breakfast and super friendly staff. 10 min walk from the middle of the historical district. If you go to the beach or cenotes, the place have sunscreen and towels for you. Will definitely come back again!

Merida is a beautiful place and a great place to visit and learn of Mayan culture. The weather was perfect this time around.

This was one of our most favorite hotels we stayed at during our trip to the Yucatán. The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable with lots of great Mérida advice. The room and beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was served right next to the pool and was one of the best on the trip (definitely a highlight of the hotel). The pool is perfect for cooling down especially if it is hot outside (like it was during our visit). The grounds are like a garden with plenty of places to sit and relax. The only downside is that it is a few blocks away from the main square but that is no problem if you enjoy walking around and exploring the city. Parking on the street was easy and free. I would strongly recommend this place!

We loved staying here and the wonderful breakfasts. Our unit had its own private swimming pool which helped us cool off daily. We loved the friendly staff and the concierge services provided. The congenial owner was on hand each morning to oversee all and was multilingual.

Tastefully decorated, beautifully run, delightfully surprising. The owner has his touch in every little corner of this place. From check in to check out, it was easy and warm. We will be back. The breakfast which was included is not your usual continental nonsense. It is unique every day and it is good.

The place has a great location, only 10 minutes walk from the city center, it’s quiet and there are spots in the street to park your car if needed.
Breakfast was good, served on the terrace to enjoy the view of the beautiful garden, pool and decoration.
Room was nice, clean, AC + fan.

Merida is such a wonderful city and to find a place to stay where I am surrounded by nature is just incredible. Great hosts, excellent service all around. Will definitely be back to Casa del Maya.
