Had a wonderful class and meal with chef and staff. Very kind and hospitable, with the best cocktails in town, nit to mention the moles. Just wish i'd discovered it sooner. Thank you again to all involved.

I heard Puebla is known for their mole, and this place is supposedly one of the best places for that. I tried the entree that came with 4 enchiladas topped with 4 different moles. I was not a fan of the peach one. My favorite one was the green mole. My cousins preferred the original one. Overall, all the food was good. They had live music, and the service was phenomenal.

Mouthwatering mole poblano, chiles en nogada and enchiladas verdes have a good taste. Do not leave without eating good flans. Fonda de Santa Clara offers delicious tequila, craft beer or wine among its drinks. You will hardly forget great cafe de olla, horchata or lemonade that you can enjoy.
The warm atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. The success of this spot would be impossible without the accommodating staff. Nice service is something guests like here. In accordance with the guests' opinions, prices are attractive. You will appreciate the divine decor of this restaurant.

Highly recommended by locals for having the best mole poblano. I got the 3 mole plate and it was so good and very filling. I also loved the rom Pope cappuccino!

La fonda de Santa Clara is a very traditional, nice restaurant. I had their mole and it was wonderful. We were a large group, and several waiters took our orders to make sure that we were taken care off in a timely manner. Their agua fresca was great as well. Very nice place that I will love to visit again. As far as I know all members of my party were happy with their food selection.

Excellent and pleasant place to enjoy a traditional food like "Mole Rojo Poblano" or "Manchamantel". The price is affordable, but it doesn't have parking lot.

It’s my first time trying Chiles en Nogada and I felt that it was pretty tasty. Good ambience and service. Love their salsa verde sauce.

Great restaurant for typical Mexican food. We had mole poblano and mole enchiladas. The restaurant has been run by a family for 50 years. Jesus one of the family was very kind and explained the mole to us. Loved it

Some of the best food I've had in Mexico!
The bill was about half of what other "fancier" restaurants would charge us for these quality plates, yet service was amazing and corteous. They have am English menu that surprisingly has exactly the same items as the Spanish one.
I can not recommend this wonderful restaurant enough
