Hotel El Manglar

The hotel has an excellent location just 4 blocks from the historic center of the town and two blocks from the lagoon. Just off a main street it is peaceful and quiet. Randy at the reception desk was very helpful and he along with the rest of the staff were very friendly. The room was simply furnished but comfortable. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. The Wi-Fi does not work well in the room but does work well in the nice courtyard just outside your door. The vegan breakfast served us was simple but filling. A very good value for your stay in Bacalar.

The Manglar hotel is a great place to come and visit Bacalar. It's very cute and the owners are adorable. The exterior is very pretty. The rooms are clean, the prices reasonable. Thanks for everything !

Excellent! The host were very kind and accommodating, for the price it was a nice stay with clean rooms and it's in the middle of downtown and close to the lagoon, there's a lot of restaurants and stores nearby. All in all a good stay, we'll come back again!

The hotel is very nice, rooms are big and very clean and the garden area is cool for breakfast. 24h reception makes you feel safer. Good WIFI. The location is perfect, just a few steps away from everything. The staff is extremely helpful. Adrián made us feel like home and helped us sorting out all the activities while in Bacalar. When we left we forgot a couple of things in the hotel and he arranged for it to get dropped off back in Tulum for us at no extra cost at all. The best costumer service ever! Totally coming back!!!

Lindo lugar, limpio, muy cerca del centro donde puedes turistear de noche, tienen ricos desayunos económicos.
Para mi estuvo genial mi estancia, si quieres lujos pagael lujo, este no es uno de esos pero esta lindo, limpio y con ambiente familiar.
Todo el personal es muy amable y te ayudan en todo. GRACIAS!

Habitaciones limpias, servicio muy amable y precio accesible. Muy cerca del centro. Cuenta con un pequeño estacionamiento y ofrecen servicio de desayuno, aunque tienen una oportunidad de mejorar en esto último.

Muy buena la atención y el servicio, agua caliente todos los días y servicio a la habitación cada vez que se necesitaba, muy recomendable 👌🏻

Es un lugar muy agradable un poco vacío, comida la habitación la regadera les falla pero el desayuno está muy bueno el café también, visualmente es un lugar muy bonito y está cerca de una tienda y el centro 👌🏻

Hoy salimos del hotel El Manglar. He estado dos días con unos amigos y hemos estado encantados. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor donde descansar y recargar pilas. Tiene un patio/jardín central muy bonito con sillas y mesitas. El trato recibido por parte de los propietarios ha sido inmejorable, han sido muy amables y me he sentido como en casa.
Volvería sin dudarlo ☺

Las instalaciones están excelentes, todo limpio y con muchas plantas, es un lugar acogedor. Las habitaciones limpias, ocupamos dos habitaciones, pero sólo en una, al día siguiente en la mañana, nos quedamos sin agua, fue el único inconveniente, de ahí en fuera, todo bien, lo recomiendo y de seguro regresaría. Igual dan servicio de desayuno unos huevitos al gusto,acompañados de chilaquiles, frijolitos, y café. Se me olvidaba, tienen una excelente ubicación cerca del centro de Bacalar.

Excelente hotel para descansar, muy limpio, aire acondicionado y agua fría y caliente, a 2 cuadras del centro. Puedes desayunar a precios muy económicos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Los administradores y empleados muy atentos y educados.

Llegué a Bacalar buscando descanso y paz para quedarme un plazo de tiempo de 1 mes aproximadamente…y me encontré con este Hotel…y sus excelentes anfitriones, que hicieron sentir mi estancia calida y agradable.

Instalaciones nuevas, aire acondicionado; desayuno delicioso y lo que todo viajero desea…café disponible por la mañana.

La ubicación es inmejorable; al este se encuentra a 2 calles de la laguna, al norte dos calles de la plaza principal…muchas opciones de restaurante de todo tipo a solo metros del lugar.

Sin lugar a dudas volvería a hospedarme aquí…en cada visita a Bacalar.

NO es un hotel de lujo. Cumple con lo necesario para descansar, si no eres tan exigente, este lugar es ideal. Las habitaciones tienen nombres de animalitos en lugar de númerosl. Es decir las habitaciones parecen más como de renta que de hotel. A mí me tocó quedarme en un cuarto que estaba a la vuelta del hotel, pero el lugar estaba cómodo incluso parecía más una casa, porque tenía patio e incluso un asador (me faltaron las carnes). Ofrecen desayuno básico; chilaquiles y huevos al gusto. El ambiente es muy casero. El lugar es limpio, obviamente hay mooo porque es un lugar húmedo, hay animalitos cerca, lo cual te pone en contacto con la naturaleza. Haste a la idea que no vas a encontrar, ni alberca, ni elevadores, solo cuartos estilo cabañas. La ubicación es excelente, rentan bicicletas para que vayas a dar una vuelta alrededor de la laguna. Me encantó el lugar, me hizo sentirme en 🏡
