This place is exclusive, private, quiet and with a breathtaking view of the lagoon.
The host is super kind and attentive to every details that will make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possibile.
Rooms are nice, very clean, and with all the amenities you may need during your staying. The beds and pillows super comfortable. From you room window you can enjoy the extraordinary view of the lagoon, and it is at 15 meters from you!
The lunch offer is good, we tried both dishes and drinks and all were very good.
Can't wait to book another vacation here.

The place is very calm, they have some beautiful rooms looking at the lagoon. The coconut trees sort of cover the view though, but otherwise very nice. They do not have any kayaks on the property.

It is nice concept. Very private with only 4 rooms, relaxed and calm down.
The accommodation is 3*** (a basic cupboard/wardrobe would be great!!) but the staff and especially Alex the hotel manager made the stay a true 5***** experience. She is truly the good (and very efficient) spirit of the house.

To improve: There are boat trips 🚤 coming nearby for swimming and play loud music. Nothing to improve for the hotel, but guys if you are on one of the boats - pls you are not alone!! No need to terrorize everybody around with your “best on the planet choice of music”

We've booked the hotel through Booking.com and on our way there, I've noticed many bad reviews on Google. It was too late for us to cancel it, thus we ended up staying at this hotel.

Well, it is lovely! Not sure what's wrong with other people, but we've enjoyed our time there and I felt obliged to leave a review on Google. All staff are super nice. There are two paddeboards available to spend some time on the lagoon. Air conditioning works very well, hot water is there and we had no flies. We had a little problem with wifi and the owner came and fixed it 5 minutes after we've sent a message through booking.com.

Some people mentioned the terrible damage to stromatolites made by the hotel. Stromatolites are living rocks, similar to reefs, however they look like just some ordinary rocks. Quiet a few hotels in this area were built a while ago and treated these rocks as rocks. The importance of these species was discovered later on and they were doing their best to preserve them since.

One night was loud due to a party going on in one of the hotels. It went on until around 12:30. That's the only negative.

The garden area is super peaceful and lovely and they even have little turtoise living in the pond in front of the rooms.

I highly recommend staying there.

Absolutely the most beautiful hotel in Bacalar! Tour boats stop in front of the hotel because it’s so beautiful. Our host Lola is an absolute gem, always around making sure everything is taken care of. I will come back and recommend it to everyone. THANK YOU! 🙏

La Albarina is a little treasure with only 4 rooms, a great location on the shore of the Lagune. The Inn keeper couple is very friendly and caring, the staff is super nice and the food is great! It is inconceivable that this place has so many bad evaluations! Those cannot come from real guests. I am a real guest though!

Wonderful & relaxing place with direct access to the beautiful lagoon. The manager and staff are extremely kind attentive and keep everything very tidy, they also have nice modern appliances (a/c) and finishes in a traditional Mayan style architecture. The owner helped educate us about the stromatolites and other parts of the native environment. I hope to return to this special place!

Calm, cosy, very good food ans breakfast. I dont understand others bad comments. Ok its not a palace so if you want that go into one. Alejandra is lovely. Booked restaurant for you. She will help you until youll have satisfaction.

Hotel is beautifully maintained on the lagoon. Wake up and take a swim into the cenotes not far away. Fantastic experience would highly recommend. Don't miss out on bacalar and the warm hospitality at the hotel

Lieu absolument exceptionnel ! Un vrai coin de paradis, un peu à l'écart du centre de Bacalar qui permet de bénéficier d'un lieu paisible et d'un accès privé à la lagune superbe !
C'est le genre de lieu dont on se souvient toute une vie d'y être passé.

Le staff est très sympathique et au petit soin, les chambres sont belles et confortables. Nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps.

우리는 밤10시넘어서 도착했고, 직원은 너무 친절하게 우리를 맞이하여주었고, 방은 너무 맘에들었다; 에어컨과 선풍기도 있어서 방은 습하지않아서 좋았고 방인테리어가 너무 예뻤다. 샤워할때 수압이낮아서 씻는데 오래걸린것, 옆에 지붕이 이어져있어서 옆방에서 소근대는 소리까지 다 들릴정도;; 그렇지만 우리는 이곳을 즐겼다.

Es un excelente lugar para hospedarse. Antes se llamaba casa corazón o caracol y la propietaria es muy amable y te explica que puedes y que no hacer para no perturbar el equilibrio del ecosistema. Las habitaciones son excelentes y muy comodas. Ampliamente recomendado solo que deberían de prohibir la entrada a los marranos que tiran basura en la carretera costera cercana a este hotel.

Le mejor vista de la laguna, el color de su costa precioso, el amanecer colorido, áreas verdes muy cuidadas, y sus propios estromatolitos, todo muy privado. Las habitaciones muy bien con productos de primera necesidad y otros lujitos prestados. Los dueños y empleados siempre al pendiente de ti.

Un lugar hermoso para visitar en pareja. Muy recomendable por la amabilidad de los propietarios, el diseño de las estancias y sobretodo por la belleza espectacular de su entorno privilegiado. Naturaleza, belleza, comodidad y elegancia. Volveremos!
