This restaurant was suggested to us and we loved it! The owner is just the best! Very friendly, very affordable and great food. We went there twice during our 4 day stay!

The chicken with blue cheese sauce and mushrooms was delicious! Best bbq wings I’ve ever tasted. My friend had the T-bone and he loved it. We also had the costillas “el barril” also very good.
We definitely recommend this restaurant. The owner/chef speaks English, french and spanish if you want to say hi, he’s very friendly.

Incredible food, the filet mignon was perfect! Lovely, friendly staff, quick service and the restaurant itself is very authentic and comfortable. Be warned, the habanero salsa is the spiciest I’ve tried in 2.5 years living in Mexico! The staff kindly bagged some extra salsa for me to take home!

Family own Steakhouse. Very nice people. They pay attention to small details, steak fresh and juicy. For me and my family, the best dinner experience in Bacalar. From the drinks to the desert. Thanks guys to make us fill welcome.

Overall very happy with the experience. We tried calling first to make sure they were open and no one answered the phone, plus very few Facebook posts. Decided to go check it out anyway. The service was prompt and very accommodating to everything we asked for. We hoped to try the Cowboy but they were out that night. We choose the arrachera and ribeye instead. Both were happy with the selections. The chef came out several times to personally speak with us and appeared to truly be passionate about his work, which almost always delivers a solid product. Will definitely be back during our next Bacalar visit.

The meat is excellent!!!! We took the Hamburger Mexicana and the Cowboysteak of 1kg and it was really DELICIOUS!!! I recommend this place very much!! The owner is a super friendly French man and gives perfect service!

We were celebrating a birthday and were in the mood for some steaks so we came here and did not regret our decision. Husband and wife are a great front of house back of house duo made sure we had a blast. Hard to find a nice piece of steak properly seasoned in these parts. They knocked it out.

We found this hidden gem in Bacalar, and let me tell you that we were surprise how tasteful it was. My wife and I order the burger and BBQ ribs. The burger had a good meaty portion of a tender patty. The ribs were as also good. Highly recommended!!

The best meat restaurant in Bacalar ! A must order is the home made chorizo and the T-bone, both very well cooked and seasoned
The French chief makes burger buns, chorizos and other specialties home made, the flavors are all there and you will have a great dinner time

My fiancé and I are meat lovers and are very picky with our food, this is the best meal we had in our 3 weeks Mexico vacation! We took the cowboy steak, it was juicy and made to perfection (we asked for medium-rare and it was done accurate) with lovely service. Highly recommended!!

The place is really nice, food was also NICE! I ordered a Yucateca steak and my girlfriend ordered bbq ribs both so delicious. It's a must go! Lemon margaritas... amazing!!! I believe the prices are just fine and staff very friendly.

The food here was so delicious , a real compliment to the Chef who also brews his own craft beers. We loved everything, we had the Tacos Arrachera, The sampler plate which includes: Wings, Sausage, Guacamole and queso fundido, we also tried the Filet Mignon. The wait may seem a little long but it is well worth it. The golden amber beer was tasty.

There is no AC (pretty normal to Mexico), but they do have a ventilation, so it's ok

My overall experience was great! I recommend visiting this restaurant (I've been there twice)

P.S. If there was an AC I would rate the atmosphere 5 stars, but it's not a deal breaker

Great food. Fresh and tasty. It's not a fancy tourist spot but the simplicity adds for the charm of this local grill. Hats off to the chef!

Amazing draft beer, authentic atmosphere and shots of tequila for 120MXN 3 times bigger than shots in other places.

Very-very delicious! One of the best steaks and Bloody Caesars in my life! Highly recommend!

Delicious food! Unfortunately they didn’t have everything on the menu at the time so we had to choose other dishes. But nonetheless the food was really yum! The staff was also very sweet, nice and attentive. Had a great dinner here.

would’ve given this place unlimited stars if possible. this was hands down the best food i’ve ever ate. before i walked in, i was an atheist. now, i’m 100% convinced that there’s a God. the fajitas brought tears to my eyes and i didn’t even cry when my grandpa died. I wanted to hug the chefs and thank them for blessing me with the taste of heaven. when i get older i will move to Bacalar and eat here everyday.

If you’re hungry and love a good European beer, that’s the place to be!
We had the double meat burger and the chicken breast. Portions were big enough but we had some space for the crème brûlée with its coffee custard.
Good service and did not wait long compared to some places around.
