Christian's Tacos

Great tacos, reasonably priced margaritas, friendly service. Good evening atmosphere. We were a little early the two times we went but a delicious margarita and some guacamole and we were happy to wait for the meat to be ready. Highly recommended.

Tried like 3 different tacos and they all tasted good. Not the most extraordinary tacos, but just good and tasty and very well priced. Same goes for the nachos el Pastor.

They did have some red lightning in parts of the outer sitting area. This did not bring too much light though, which you also may see on the pictures. Better lighting could be more joy to the eyes at night.

The radio/stereo had some good 80s and 90s music, not sure if this is every evening, but we liked it!

Traveled around the whole of Mexico and these were hands down the best! I got the chorizo, chicken and pork all absolutely amazing! Kept ordering more but simply got so full couldn’t order any more! Forgot to mention the absolutely delicious cocktails were so cool got the mago margarita and regular margarita.

The tacos here are very good! The service is quick, and the Christians Special hereis a great cocktail! They have a great menu with lots of variety.

Loved this place. No mosquitoes or bugs the night we were there and the tri taco was incredible. Three kinds of tasty meat. There were lots of vegetarian options for my wife and she loved the romantic atmosphere.

We went there twice in 2 nights, as the place was our favourite during the whole 2 weeks trip in Yucatan/Quintana Ro. We found this place in the Lonely Planet and try the al pastor tacos, queso relleno and quesadillas. There were fantastic! Also, from time to time someone came to play live music. We also spent sometime with the owner, Christian, who is a super welcoming human being: he explained some traditions of Bacalar, gave us tricks and shared some of his experiences as business man and Bacalar resident. He made us feel like home, gracias Christian, te esperamos en Italy!!

Easy street parking. The tritaco is fantastic. I'm not a meat eater so I had a quesadilla and some guacamole which was fine. My husband ordered the tritaco and I had a few bites. It was so good. It has delicious chicken, pork and beef along with guacamole and cheese, topped with bacon. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is excellent. They have wifi so if you're like me and don't speak Spanish, don't be afraid. Google translate made ordering easy.

Favorite tacos in Bacalar. Ordered al pastor, pollo, and a side of guacamole. The tacos were simple and meat was super tender. The atmosphere was quaint and not pretentious, there were fun old-school disco music videos playing the night I went. Service was great too!

Had some good tacos el pastor; different to other places - chunkier meat, less marinade and served with pineapple. Very cheap, decent venue playing 80s pop, efficient service

I came here as I read on TripAdvisor it was good and it definitely was! I'm not sure who was Christian but the two guys that served me were very nice. The food was so good too. I ordered 2 more things after my initial order and only spent $6!

The food here was superb. The chicken, pork asados tacos and mestizos where so delicious. Best tasting meat we had in Bacalar. Service with a smile and lovely local music for an authentic Mexican vibe! We also loved their fresh lemonade. This is definitely better than other taquerias in town!

Very simple kitchen, but very good and authentic. Prices are really good.

No frills good food here, several taco options to try. Value to money, worth visiting in Bacalar, two blocs away from the main square. Don't expect fancy stuff tho. It also prepares take aways plates for locals which come and pick up to bring home, which is a positive sign in my view.

Very nice place to have dinner and a few drinks. Awesome atmosphere, the tacos were very tasty especially the el pastor but my absolute favourite was the queso fundido simply delicious!
Value for money is unbeatable, very cheap considering how tasty the food is!
We have had dinner there twice and the service was so friendly they make you feel like home.
Christian sat with us for a chat and a drink and he gave us a lot of useful tips for things to do in Bacalar.
Lovely restaurant, I absolutely recommend it!
