Villas Pehaltun

The cleanest air bnb I’ve ever been in! Marissa was amazing and on hand for any of our needs to be met which we kept to a minimum! The staff are lovely and very much mindful of of your privacy and space. The views? Oh my the views. The deep blue lagoon, swimming in it, the skies, the friendly dogs, the nature…Was just a magical four days. We took a whole load of kitchen stuff with us in the shape of utensils etc but wasn’t needed! It’s all there!
I don’t use microwaves but the two gas hob small cooker was sufficient. The double bed was as comfortable as, tho I believe the couch bed was a bit uncomfortable for my friend who actually treated me to this little holiday in paradise and unselfishly wouldn’t swap beds! (Maybe a topper would help).
Free water, plenty ice in the freezer and plenty space in the big fridge too. Highly recommend! Towels supplied and wash face cloths.
Would come back for a solitary retreat so shoved on the bucket list for the future it is! Good WiFi too. We didn’t use the tv but it’s there if you want.
We swam every day and there’s kayaks and canoes with life jackets if needed. Two hammocks and loungers on the wonderful wee palapa. The peace….
We were in the first casita that is just delightful. My only suggestion would be that the shower head needs soaked in white vinegar. :) It sprays everywhere apart from you. Lol
Was a five minute drive to Bacalar town. Plenty wee shops for food to cook and gifts and restaurants with very friendly locals. Nice evening walks around the square and the piña coladas are to die for! There’s actually a blender in the casita to make your own so treat yourself to the ingredients especially the pineapples at the little markets. Flying back home with a smile on my face and a beautiful memory in my heart…
Just go and treat yourself(ves).
PS. Our dog had an absolute blast!

My husband and I spent a few days in the cabaña studio and found it so relaxing. The lake is beautiful, the view is gorgeous, and the place is very tranquil. Marissa warmly welcomed us and was available to help if we had any questions about the property or the town. We highly recommend it!

Everything was perfect. Ginny, Steve & Lise great hosts. The lagoon is simply beautiful, it is a huge pool, crystal clear water, direct contact with nature. La Palapa has an incredible view, right in front of the pier and the lagoon. Everything was great, we will definitely be back!

Best ever! Right on the water in beautiful Bacalar. Ginny is awesome and the super friendly dogs made it even better!

What an absolute gem this place is. I almost don't want people to know about it, it's that delightful. Breathtaking views and landscaping, the location, each casa is so special, and Marissa is simply the best - attentive, fast to respond and so very thoughtful. I will go back again and again!

Estuvimos en una cabaña tipo estudio. La cama matrimonial muy cómoda y la cabaña cuenta con un porche con una vista preciosa a la laguna de Bacalar. El lugar está hermoso lleno de árboles y diferentes flores de varios colores. Hay una palapa muy cerca en la orilla del lago dónde se puede tomar el sol o simplemente disfrutar de la laguna. Un chapuzón es recomendable. Marissa es una excelente administradora y nos atendió muy bien. Regresaremos pronto.

Super accueil, endroit magnifique. Les gites sont très bien équipés avec un super confort. Acces à la lagune privée avec possibilité d'emprunter des kayaks. Voiture obligatoire car c'est à quelques km du centre.

La casa palapa puede alojar 4 personas cómodamente. La dueña fue muy amable y nos ayudó con varias cosas.

Esmuy tranquilo y en la noches se ve las estrellas con gran inmensidad; bacalar es un gran lugar para olvidarte de todo y darte un buen trip
