Lavanda Café de Especialidad

The new location is much larger but it’s very popular and you often have to wait.
The food is great and one of the best coffees in town. I e tried many of the different dishes and all have been delicious. There are three levels in this building each floor has a slightly different feel to it. The staff are wonderful friendly and efficient

I had a great experience at Lavanda Café. The atmosphere and live music made it very cozy and relaxing.

I first ordered the cold brew, Tónico Lavando. It came with an exceptional presentation with three coffee grounds on top of a lemon. It was well balanced but slightly too bitter for my palate.

My second drink was the Refresco de Garambullo. Garambullo is the fruit of a native cactus plant. It was perfectly balanced, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants a refreshing drink.

I asked the waitress what her favorite meal was, and she told me Cazuela. It was very delicious. The chili sauce gives it a perfect spice, and all of the items in the meal pair perfectly. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the excellent service.

Homemade almond milk. Best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Adorable. Not crowded if you go for late lunch.

The eggs Benedict were divine. They came with bacon, avocado, and spinach, the Hollandaise sauce was creamy and just the right amount of lemony. And the lavender cappuccino was fantastic!

We had the guayaba and dulce de leche cake, the refresco de garambullo and the lavender iced latte. Everything was very delicious and I can recommend all of these. Especially the cake was amazing. There's often a long queue but we were lucky and it was almost empty (Sat 2:15 PM).

Excellent atmosphere with great service.

The food is phenomenal and the menu is bound to satiate your tastebuds- ranging from sweet dishes to savory and a hint of spice. The beverages are phenomenal.

I ordered the fish tacos and they were well balanced with citrus, spice, and pickled onions. Highly recommend trying a dish or two and a regular beverage / caffeinated beverage to experience a taste of it all.

This is an excellent place for a date, reading a book, a meeting or just going alone for some delicious food. The atmosphere is calming and fresh- you’re surrounded by beauty and plants. Hope you enjoy !

Unbelievably good coffee and a nice selection. Menu of breakfast items. They all looked very good. The cafe itself is so peaceful and charming. Great experience.

Lovely little coffee shop a few blocks from the town center. Great pour over coffee and the staff were very friendly.

Pet friendly. We recommended cold latte, lavender latte coffee and cold cherry beverage. We tried garambullo (local fruit) cheesecake 💙 highly reccomended.

Really nice place! No wait when we went. Our party order a good amount of stuff and everything tasted great. The best was the chilaquiles though!

We sat in the middle area where it was kinda outside but there seemed to be an awning of sorts so when it started drizzling we just heard it and didn’t feel anything. It was pretty cool.

Best brunch in San Miguel! The vibe of this restaurant is wonderful- they had live music in the garden every time we’ve been. Pourover coffee was also amazing, and they sell beans for you to bring home too :)

Amazing place to have breakfast or brunch, everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, the day we went they had a performer playing the guitar, which made the experience very enjoyable and relaxing. Definitely putting Lavanda on my favorite places in San Miguel.

Not only is the food delicious but they do an amazing job at making it looks so pretty!
The coffee is spectacular and their dishes are works of art. We had to wait 1+hr to get in but it was worth the wait!
Very friendly staff and warm environment.

Highly recommended. Breakfast items, hot beverages and pastries are all great. Though this is relatively small place, the interior is beautifully designed and they have live music occasionally.

Great atmosphere, great service, great food. If I had to find something to complain about, it was that I had to go grab cash and come back because they are cash only. Amazing restaurant for coffee and breakfast.

Must go for brunch if in San Miguel! All breakfast dishes are amazing, went with a group and got to try various different items and was pleasantly surprised. The green salsa chilaquiles with bacon and avocado were delicious! Also recommend the Toscano eggs - the pesto was great. For drinks, loved the lavender latte - very subtle but amazing. Place is always full so expect a long wait. Pricey but worth it.

The place is really amazing, we've been here 3 times. Without a reservation you have to wait sometimes 30 to 40 minutes and come back, but that doesn't matter cause the food is delicious, freshly prepared and the staff is very friendly, engaged and helpful. We warmly recommend the coffee specialities, like "Mareado Lavanda". Some coffee is served in beautiful handmade cups. You can get also a cup of coffee to go, than you can an almond and a piece of date. :) The Price performance ratio was top. The Cafe lavanda is the perfect place to drink good coffee.

People Should get over them selfs and stop judging about cash they really ask you and inform you at the door!!!!! Genuinely one of the best coffee i have had. Very nice cozy coffee shop and if you don’t go and visit it you are missing out !!!!!
