Food was delicious, and even though they took a while to bring us our food we received an appetizer on the house as we waited for our food. Only bad thing to say was that we had asked one of the waiters to bring us a another round of beers and he made sure we knew he was not our waiter by telling us so. Other than that next time we are in Cabos we will definitely come back here.

Absolutely incredible. I’ve eaten at just about every restaurant in San Jose over 8 trips but somehow skipped this one for the fancier options. Huge mistake, this has been my best meal in the city by far. Excellent service, delicious food and a fun ambience with a mix of locals and tourists. A must visit!

Absolutely stellar experience at Toro Guero! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was charming, and the scent of fresh seafood tantalized our senses. Each bite of the seafood tacos was a burst of flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ingredients were undoubtedly fresh, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to quality. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring our glasses were never empty and our needs were promptly met. Without a doubt, Toro Guero has set the bar high for Mexican seafood tacos in Cabo. A must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable dining experience!

Absolutely LOVED this local restaurant to eat. It was recommended by our driver to try and it did not disappoint. Kevin was amazing! We enjoyed the food and drinks and will definitely be back. The marlin and beef tacos were delicious, as was the coconut shrimp! You are given chips and salsa and pico to snack on, which is delightful.

The service is so snappy and the seafood is so fresh that it's hard not to love Toro Guero. Try fresh seafood tacos made of snapper, scallops, shrimp, octopus and other fish of the day. Fresh tortillas and condiments like various salsas (habanero, jalapeno, cilantro, tomato, avocado) are set out to enhance your meal as you see fit. Prices are terrific. Everything is cooked in the spot. Perfect place for a large group beer and seafood feast as opposed to a quiet date night. It's well worth a meal because it's one of the few authentically local places in San Jose del Cabo. Located a 15-minute walk from the Cathedral, on the outskirts of the historic village along Centenario Blvd.

We went with friends for lunch after packing them up from SJD. This was a great way to start them on their vacation here. They had it on their bucket list. We did the shrimp four ways and loved it. Also, they ordered the large fried whole Red Snapper which was cooked just perfectly. What a tasty meal!

The place is always busy. It's best when ordering the whole fried red snapper to order the kilo and larger. The smaller one doesn't have much meat to it. The coconut shrimp dish I wouldn't order again because the shrimp weren't large enough for the breading. The shrimp cocktail is the way to go- lots of sprimp and tasty, too!

Otherwise, itgood food. Great staff. We enjoyed eating there as do many others. It's worth going there and the price is worth it, too!

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Cabos. Tbw food is fresh, and the portions are significant. We had fried fish, shrimp cocktails, and more. The Aguas frescas were also good. If you come to Cabos you have to try this place is the best.

Marvelous food, locals and visitors, casual & rustic dining, amazing staff, complimentary chips & salsa & Pico, huge portions.
My wife had the red snapper which ended up being an entire fish (see photo) it was beautifully cooked and prepared with cross cuts that made it simple to lift portions off with a fork! Traditional preparation of Mexico. It was marvelous. Large portion!

Extremely fun and friendly! Delicious seafood and desserts. Staff went above and beyond, even making sure the Americans got safely back into the right Uber.

Food was delicious! We got the lava rock dish and they put a lobster tail on top for us. We were able to share it between 2 people.

This seafood restaurant is fabulous. The food was quick and delicious. They have washrooms as well as separate hand washing stations. The service was fantastic, friendly and the server was helpful. We had crab, bass and coconut shrimp all three were delicious. They serve you chips and pico to start which was fresh and so flavourful. Definitely will be back !

Very easy restaurant to find and plenty of parking spaces to park. The vibe was very lively. Do not expect A/C. There were many food options to choose from. Prices were very reasonable. Mixed drinks were on the really light side....The staffs were very attentive and quick. Great restaurant for lunch and dinner.

My wife and I planned to walk from Mision San José to "Frida Cabo," a Mexican restaurant. However, when we were passing "El Toro Guero," our nostrils were pampered by their kitchen. We stopped, glimpsed the inside, and realized the place was filled with locals. That is a good sign if you want authentic Mexican food and a fair price. My wife and I debated whether to carry out our plan or try this place. After 4 minutes, we decided to change plans and eat at Toro Guero. We were not disappointed.

We ordered three items: Octopus, Huachinango, and Marlin. Oh my God!- The three dishes were delicious. The softness of both the huachinango and the octopus has no comparison; they are tasty and fresh. This was my wife's first time trying marlin (Pez Espada), and she loved it. I did too. The servers were incredible; they were funny and super attentive. I recommend this hidden gem to my friends. Please note that prices are super accessible compared with all those crazy, uptight places you see in Los Cabos.

Best local food, straight from the airport to this place. Just a little pricey compared to other local places but worth every penny!!

Highly recommend by locals, the place where locals eat and mingle, the seafood selections are plentiful, good beer selection.
The service is on point and know the food they serve, I asked questions about some dishes I never saw before and got good explanations about it, makes it easy to order.
Live music with the right volume that you can have a conversation without the need to scream to each other. A few blocks from El Centro.
