Terelj Star Resort

We had a two-day-one-night workshop here. The room and food are okay. In the morning, we enjoyed archery.

I enjoyed a wekend in this resort and all was great! Professional and kind staff, and very clean and good service. The food at the restourant seemed slightly overpriced, but it is normal I assume in such tourisric sites. Overall pleasent experience and definetely reccomend.

I’m vegan & every-time i go there the chef makes vegan spaghetti for me. Love the place . The nature tho, it’s beautiful af. Rooms are cozy, love you Terelj Star.

If you’re gonna spent a night or 10 outside UB book a ger here!

We booked for one night, fell in love, and I got super sick (cold/fever) so booked another night - the staff were very accommodating and super patient as we decided btw late check out and booking second night. We also eat mostl vegetarian so they were so kind as to adjust the menu. First they kindly took out the meat, then they made fully vegan soup and vegetarian breakfasts.

We had the deluxe ger which comes with built-in bathroom and shower. We managed fo take a quick walk around and if I was feeling better we’d have done a little day hike.

Wish I had extra stars for this place bc the manager ended up giving me his personal medical line stash - Vit C and strepsil. So very thoughtful considering how far we were from nearest pharmacy.

Best Terelj resort I've stayed in. Good location for views, hiking and biking. Helpful staff, clean gers, good food (and they will make excellent vegetarian versions of dishes like tsuivan and kimchi soup). Showers in the main block don't seem to be used much; water temperature is a bit up and down but they're clean.

The ger accommodation was clean, warm & cozy because unlike other stove heated places it used electrical floor heating. Restaurant was good, food was delicious. Shared toilet was all clean and new. Will be glad to come back.

Spending time and nights at traditional Mongolian House at "Ger" is the greatest experience you must do when you are in Mongolia!

Stayed 3 nights over there and had to figure out which cubicles have hot water and which do not. Shower facilities are located at the main hall only and the toilets are only partitioned at both the hall and among the gers. For individual toilet and shower facilities you may enquire on their deluxe gers.

Food is good and reasonably priced but maybe we had too many nights of the same food. Other then that, the overall stay was marvellous.

We tried a few of their in-house activities and the staff was very accommodating. Kudos to the manager and staff for their excellent services rendered.

Location wise, you could not ask for a better location with gers elevated on the slope of the mountain neatly positioned in formation and the mountain behind us for a good trekking trail. Trekking behind the resort along the ridges are a fine way to be in touch with Mother Nature. Bring a flask of hot tea and some snacks and enjoy at rest stops along the hike. Do remember to bring trash back to resort.

Do not forget to ask for extra heater if your ger is always cold.

My first stay inside a Ger was at this new and kind of plush resort. The location is simply breathtaking and you can get WiFi even inside your Ger! The big hall in which they serve food also had performances by local artists and cosplay in traditional Mongolian costumes.

Not for the minimalist visitor who is looking for a Ger resort with bare minimum necessities. This resort is a 15 minute drive from the famous turtle rock.

Great environment. Has a big ger restaurant. Food is good. The stay in gers are really nice and hot.

The ger was warm and cozy and clean where it was minus 30 outside. I would go again and will recommend the it to others.

Wonderful! just loved the service, attentiveness and a surrounding nature was phenomenal and superb!

The food here never disappoints! Keep it up!
