GURU TOURIST CAMP

The ger was very clean, it had power outlets on some of the bedposts and there was a lamp in the celing. They had a hearth which you have to ask if you are allowed to light (we did not since it was warm enough outside when we were there) and there were extra blankets on one of the drawers. In the bathroom house there were showers on one side and toilets on the other side (ladies room had showers to the left and toilets to the right and mens room had showers to the right and toilets to the left). Food was decent. Our tour guide talked to the staff about eating times, it seemed like they discussed in advance when we eat so that the staff prepares the food on time. There was a bar in the reception/resturant building. They said they close 23, but preferably earlier. I guess it might depend on the amount of guests. I would recommend walking up on the mountain behind the ger camp - we had a very nice view from there. It was possible to try wearing traditional Mongolian clothing in the souvenir shop area (first ger if you walk from the reception to this area) and there was also a bow and arrows in this ger which you could bring out to a target on the grass near the shops to shoot, that was very fun to try.
