Galaxy Motel

Amazing hostel. Staff were very nice all the time. Breakfast of local food was really delicious and each day was different, creative and generous. The boys that work there are always very kind and want to help you all the time. The place is very good located close to bus stop. Room was very clean and comfortable. They organized a very good tour of an entire day around the caves. I really recommend it and it costs only 7000 Kyats per person. But if you prefer to do it yourself you can also rent a motorbike with them. They have also free water refill what is very convenient.

We had an excellent stay at the Galaxy Motel: good location, the rooms are clean and the staff is just great, always helpful. They propose excursions and transportation around the city at good price. The breakfast is very good as well. They even let us leave our baggage and have a shower after we checked out as our bus was late at night. That was really great!

One of the best places where have stayed during the entire trip so far! We arrived around 2am in the morning and they welcomed as with a big smile and a lot of patience. The quote big private room where we stayed was very clean and had air-con and hot water. 15 dollars x couple. The breakfast the next morning was delicious (veggie samosa, sweet cake, banana, delicious the or coffee). The first floor is so well decorate, you have a lot of books to check! The WiFi is pretty strong. All staff super helpful. The owner has an amazing English level and knows diferent languages. This Hotel is also very well located. We recommend it to everybody staying in this city.

We randomly picked this hotel on booking at last minute, and we were well inspired to do so ! Kim and the boys have been such amazing hosts, really helpful and friendly ! They speak perfect english, and quite good french the a lovely accent. Apart from the amazing staff, the room was big enough, with good A/C. Clean bathroom with hot shower ! The breakfast change everyday, with fruits and delicacies directly from the market.

When you arrive here, you get a very friendly welcome with staff insisting to carry your bags and you get a quick explanation on the area and the activities that you can do here. Recommend to stay here! The place seems simple from outside, but the room is relatively spacious and has hot water. The included breakfast is different everyday and with multiple dishes.

The staff at this family run guesthouse make this place!! So genuinely nice and go above and beyond to make your trip to Hpa-an enjoyable. Verified our tickets, stayed up late and drove us to our bus stop for our trip to Yangon.

Hpa-an is a great place and friendly people are all around, but in this motel we felt really welcomed. The owners and all other staff there are very friendly and ready to help with everything. The price were really good for Myanmar, clean rooms,AC, hot water. Great local breakfast and the most beautifull view from the rooftop :)

The hotel is managed by a family who does an amaxing job. The couldn't have better staff.
The room was clean and nice, and washroom are at pair with we have experience in Asia. The a/c works really well and the have generator, so you dont have to suffer when the town is out of power .
We arrived late at night after a long day travelling. We were really hungry and everything around was closed. The guy at the reception gave us a meal of toast and coffee, a gift from him. That filled pur heart, thanks.
The breakfast was really tasty and good portions. The white coffee was really good and sweet were to died for .
We rented a motorbike from then and have no complaints. It was strong and overall a good motorbike.
Overall, the staff always have an smile and are there to help you. Only regret is having to leave. By the way they even took us to the bus staff!

Galaxy was a very nice motel, standard rooms with hot shower and very nice and helpfull staff. They serve a good breakfast, it's the same every day, but they were really nice to prepare us snack since we went Zwegabin mountain at 4am.

So friendly, nice touches, great customer service and super helpful. The rooms were fine, but it's in the care and warmth that they get 5 stars.

Little things like providing a free tuk tuk to the disappointing night market, giving us a late check out and somewhere to shower before our night bus, giving good local advice and a good price on scooter rental etc.

Highly recommended.

The host and staff are very kind and helpful. We got advice about what places to see and how to plan the rest of our trip due to the heavy rains in Hpa An.
Breakfast is nice and gives you a taste of the local food.
Rooms differ a bit, in general they are good, maybe the air is a bit moisty.
We werent sure how to get the hot water running but the host helped us immidatley to solve it.

We booked a city tour with this hotel and the tour was super nice. We visit 7 places around Hpa-An (caves and pagodas). The day was really full but with enough time to enjoy each place. Also the staff at the Galaxy Motel was very nice.

Best breakfast we had in Southeast Asia, staff is super nice and friendly. You can book tours, busses or scooters there and the room was nice with a working AC.

We would definitely come back here if we are in Hpa An again!

Centrally located in town. There are better looking buildings in town but no one takes care of their guests like the Galaxy. I travel to Hpa-An at least a couple times a year for work. Ms. Khin at the Galaxy not only makes my travel in the area easy by sorting things quickly and efficiently, but she and her family make guests feel like this is a home away from home. Amazing hospitality here.

Lady boss was nice n helpful. Recommends where to get nice meals, arrange tour n book bus ticket.
They even offered me a plate of fruits n coffee when i got back from my tour. So sweet of her.

Very friendly and helpful service but a bit expensive considering room quality. Stayed in a 25$ room with AC and full time hot water in washroom. They offered me to take a shower at evening after I came back from exploring even though I checked out at 1 pm. No alcohol served here but you can buy from outside & drink in your room. Love the hospitality 😃

The stay at Kims place was one of the most welcoming, heartwarming experiences I can remember in Myanmar. She fed us watermelons, cooled us with a fan, organized several tips for us, served us Breakfast etc. - in short she Made everything possible, which was her every answer to my every question. Would definitely return, Kim Possible gets 5 Stars :)

Its not only well ubicated and CLEAN, several of them speak a english lot better that mine and every one there its AMAZING (they saw i bought fresh peanuts and not only warn me about eat that THEY COOKED for me even when i dont was already sleeping there. They get me to my bus ticket and the highlights of hpa ann tour (too cheap the price of the tour, for me was imposible pay so little for so many hour of work). The views at the roof are amazing. Other options are cheaper if you are a solo traveler but the difference of qualite is too big

Location is great, it has a roof to watch the sunset and enjoy a cold beer. Rooms are clean and Kim at the front is super helpful, nice and fun!!

Very helpful and generous staff! Rooms are modest, but functional en clean. Great place to stay in Hpa-An.
