Veranda - Youth Community Cafe

Our number one place to eat in Hpa an (and Myanmar so far). Highly recommend on the avocado salad, the juices, the really good coffee, the chicken with cashew, the pancakes (...). We stayed next door and went here for lunch or dinner every day. Sometimes you need to be a little patient for receiving your food, but since they still learn how to provide great service, that's fine.

It's a very quiet and nice place in where you can spend some time to relax and get out of the noise. They have a very good menu selection, with milkshakes, smoothies, yoghurts, coffee, pancakes, toasts, rice, noodles... It's more expensive that normal local places but it's worth it for the place and good quality of the food.

Best Müsli in Myanmar! This ist a really nice place with a layed back atmosphere. Cappuccino was great, juices OK. Try the Muesli Bowl. It's not cheap but worth every Kyat. Friendly staff. Free WiFi and power supply on some of the tables 😁

Good food! Mostly western food, so it's nice to remember how it tastes... The dishes are a bit small, but the price is OK. Really nice place too. Worth the trip to here!

Very lovely place. The staff is young and very friendly. English is alright. Food is fine, so are the prices. They are training the folks here to be successful workers in hospo and tourism. Worth your money, time and support.

This place is a hidden gem! Local and fresh delicious food, great coffee from Myanmar, friendly staff and a relaxing and open minded atmosphere. On top of that, the place is community owned and they support education and training for young people from the area and advocate sustainability.

Books!!! They have pretty interesting books there. Vegetarian and vegan salads are available. Decent price. Quiet ambiance and neat setting decoration. A souvenir shop next to the restaurant.

We spent 3 data's in Hpa An and ate here every day. The food is delicious, the service charming and the overall experience is most definitely to be recommended (as are the Kachin Rice Wine Mojitos!).

Very tasty and clean food, even for Vegetarians. Great atmosphere and sweet sweet service. The peace found here was like an Oasis in the midst of the desert.

Wonderful! GREAT food at a great price for a good cause :) be patient, they are working hard and learning the ropes but you will really enjoy it.

Very chilled and pretty place with wonderful staff and delicious food. The place to head to when in Hpa-an! Mind that on Monday they are open till 3pm, all other days 9am to 9pm.
