Thande Beach Hotel

I had an excellent five day stay here during the busy time just before Water Festival. I had a seaview room and it was absolutely worth the extra cost. The room has an excellent view of the sea and you can relax on the chairs outside and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The beach immediately outside the hotel was very clean and not crowded at all. Especially during the midday heat I had the beach to myself. I got a massage at the onsite spa and it was pretty good and the same price as what I normally pay in Mandalay. The complimentary breakfast and a la carte food were just okay, but there were better options nearby. The service however was excellent, including reception, restaurant, housekeeping, and spa staff. They were all very pleasant and accommodating. 100% recommend for your stay in Ngapali.

Pleasantly surprised that when we got here they had just finished room upgrades and were starting on new spa and reception area. Rooms were great and roomy with nice bathrooms. Breakfast was average and some items were served cold but great selections. Beach area was extraordinary and chairs were nice to sunbathe. Wait for the vendors on the beach and get great prices on fruit, boat rides and food.

Such a beautiful paradise beach. Very clean and well maintained place. They have constant security patrolling the beach and keeping the place safe. Everyone has his own lounge chair and beach umbrella. The hotel offers affordable cocktails and brings it to your lounge chair. The sea was warm but not very transparent seeing as it was a sand beach. Lovely stay here for us!

Just came back from a 1 week stay with my family. Superb stay.
Location is great, beach is awesome.
Bungalows are really nice and well maintained.
Food in the hotel is good and not expensive.
Personels are really nice and smily.
Sunset at happy hour time are beautiful.
Warm recommendation from my side.
Wooden bus shuttle is terrific, and remind me Tintin cartoon.

Best hotel on this beach. There is a shuttle service with the airport and they pick you up with a bus made of wood. :-) All lugage they take care of. Rooms are good, including the appartments in the 2 story building.
Breakfast is ouside and between 17 and 19h or so happy cocktail hour.
Clean beach with few good restaurants close by.
Beach is white and see is warm and blue.
This hotel is just in the middle of everything.
During the day you could do massage in the hotel, beach is half price.
Close by you could rent a boat for snorkeling.
Wifi is very poor. If you need more access go to the hilton, close to the airport and for a coffee of $7 you have free wifi access :-)
Swimming pool is good for morning excercise, not used frequently or by many guests.
Hotel is surrounded by a garden and they are quite busy to keep this in good shape.
Safe in your appartment, can hold more ipads.
Hotel has own bicycles. Not much to cycle anyways
This is not a party beach, everything is closed around 22h, so if you are young you are at the wrong place
The evenings in january are bit cold compared to the hot days. I like that
Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Everything goes the myanmar way, so dont expect the same as at home. At the end it all worked out fine.

This hotel is very well run by the General Manager Thein Thein. The breakfasts are good, the staff friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoy sitting under the trees on a raised walkway overlooking the beach, as you are shaded and can enjoy the sea breezes.

Enjoyed my stay at Thande beach. Premium location. Kind stuff. They booked me an amazing boat trip to Pearl Beach / highly appreciated. I also took a Thai massage, highly recommended

Nice hotel and friendly staff, we bought seafood from outside and cook in the hotel, they are very helpful to make us a delicious dinner by the beach. great service and great experienced.

We only used the long chairs by the beach which they allow if you consume something at the bar. I liked staying in the shade under the trees, among the rich assisted european tourists who like to book expensive resorts and pay high prices in USD 🧡😄
