Clean and fresh hotel close to the pier. Staff is very friendly and helpful, credit to them!! 👏 they have single rooms for 20,000 kyats and up (double rooms). Probably the cheapest in town. Enjoy!

The room was clean and the air conditioning was perfect. It isn't the Ritz but it was perfect for what I needed. The staff are friendly and they were able to check me into my room at 3am after a long journey from Myeik. I didn't get round to breakfast so I can't give an opinion on that. The WiFi was good in the lobby as well as in my room which was a rare thing on my travels lol. Nice place to stay if you decide to check out Kawthoung or go on a snorkeling trip. The Jetty is very nearby maybe a 5 minute walk.

I already knew what to expect staying here so enjoyed my stay! The manager was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions patiently, suggested that I take some time to go around town and take the evening bus ride instead of the morning one (helped arrange my ticket), which was a GREAT tip. He helped me arrange a motorbike to go around the area and it was so worth it to do - Kawthaung is beautiful! Lots of local life to see and amazing nature if you do your research on where to go. The mohinga for breakfast was delicious (also option for toast), the room was small but enough for a solo traveler who doesn't need much.
