Parc Mitsinjo

Very nice park involved in lots of conservation projects, go support them! I highly recommend the night walk there, the paths are narrow so you'll get to see things up close, especially the mouse lemurs.

The most promising example of conservation in Madagascar. Parc Mitsinjo is managed by the guides association, who are wonderful people and all highly invested in protecting and expanding the rainforest. They are able to balance ecotourism (see indri, bamboo lemurs, parsons chameleon, frogs and more) with biodiversity conservation and reforestation. Special note for birders and lemur lovers: ask for Evariste as your guide and you’ll find some of the hardest birds and lemurs to see such as the nuthatch vanga and wooly lemur!

Parque de iniciativa local donde los precios son más bajos y ves lo mismo que en el oficial. En mi caso hice el circuito aventure, unas 5 horas y vimos lemures indri, sifaka y marrones y tambien el arbol sagrado.

Il parco offre la possibilità di avvistare le stesse tipologie di fauna del parco nazionale di Andasibe (di fronte), a un prezzo ridotto (40.000 Ary inclusa guida per percorso di 3 ore) e con la possibilità di effettuare i percorsi anche al di fuori degli orari ufficiali di apertura. Le guide inoltre hanno una predilezione per i parchi delle comunità, dunque saranno molto contente se sceglierete di visitare questi parchi anziché quelli nazionali. Abbiamo effettuato il percorso di 3 ore al mattino presto e abbiamo sentito gli Indri cantare appena svegli, proprio sopra di noi. Oltre agli indri, abbiamo visto diversi camaleonti, gechi a coda di foglia, rane e insetto giraffa.
