La mosquée n'a rien de spécial mais à 500 m on peut voir la porte du palais royal de Rabat

Face au Palais Royal construit en 1864 sur les ruines de l'ancien Palais du 18ème siècle, se trouve l'élégante mosquée royale Ahl Fas, séparée du Palais par l'immense esplanade du Mechouar. Lors des fêtes religieuses ou traditionnelles, il est fréquent que le roi traverse le Méchouar en carrosse ou à cheval, pour se rendre à la mosquée.
Le roi se rend à la mosquée du Palais Royal AHL FAS pour la prière du vendredi, lorsqu'il se trouve à Rabat.

مسجد أهل فاس واحد من اجمل المساجد في العاصمة الرباط يقع في حي تواركة بالمشور السعيد هذا المسجد معروف عند الكثير من المغاربة داخل العاصمة الرباط او خارجها.
