Dar Morocco

Dar Morocco is a nice and relatively small hotel with very nice and helpful staff. They are willing to help you with all your needs. Very spacious rooms and a lovely shower with plenty of water.

Where to begin, first, this room was selected for us by our tour guide. What an amazing job he did. This hotel is by far one of the top five star hotels we have stayed at in Morocco. Amazing location right across the street from the Sahara desert. Five course dinner amazing breakfast we couldn’t ask for more.

Moustapha and staff were really helpful in making our visit to merzouga special. They are very attentive and will cater to your needs! My wife and I were blown away by the smell and overall aesthetic of the Riad! We absolutely LOVED their breakfast, so so delicious! You do not want to miss it so make sure that you get up lol!! The pool is clean and at a good temperature! Our shower was hot with great water pressure as well! The rooms also have a mini fridge which I think is nice if you want to save anything from breakfast or keep your drinks cold throughout the night!

You can also watch TV in the tea room! The room is very gorgeous and comfortable! Next to this room they have gorgeous restrooms!

We actually wanted them to take a few pictures of us and they did it with no problem! We loved that!

These guys work really hard to make your stay pleasurable so make sure that you give them tips to support them, they’ll even give you change! :)

This was truly our home away from home and we would highly recommend you guys check it out if you have a chance to visit Merzouga! The dunes are only a short walk away for you to enjoy same boarding + more!

Everything was amazing, I travel from Greece first time in my life at Sahara! And I find this beautiful in the heart of desert, comfortable and traditional rooms and a amazing swimming pool!! Everything I eat was excellent!! But the stuff was the best and very polite

The Staff is wonderful, very sweet and helpful, the room spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed, pillows excellent! The food also great, is a very good place to stay!

Modern yet authentic hotel. Desert is just walking distance from the pool. Rooms are spacious and clean with Moroccan style features. Also you can arrange all the excursions from the reception, as they got knowledge of local services.

We had the most amazing experience at this hotel, the staff were so welcoming and Moustapha spent the night with us after dinner on the tables outside serving us tea and teaching us Berber as well as swapping riddles (he is very funny) and other information he has learnt from his travels and other guests. We were also served by Maymon who was amazing! Please come here if you are thinking of staying in the town, hands down best hotel we stayed at on our trip.

A beautiful and welcoming place, Mustafa and Maimoun are the best. Beautiful rooms, great food and tea, friendly service. You can’t go wrong with Dar Morocco!

We stayed here for one night and definitely wish we could have stayed for longer! The rooms and hotel was absolutely beautiful and we were greeted by Maymon who was super kind and at night we enjoyed learning from Moustapha while having some tea all together. Super special experience and highly recommend!

This place is truly a gem in the desert, where you can relax, enjoy the local lifestyle while sipping mint tea next to the pool (super refreshing for a break from the hot 🥵 weather). We spent two days in the desert and we stayed here on the second night, it couldn’t have been better! We loved the room, the service and the people who welcomed us as family.

What separates this hotel from everywhere else is the staff takes the time to get to know you through personal conversations. I felt like family staying here. Shoutout the homies Mustafa and Maimon!

A beautiful stay following our desert camping trip! We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, extremely clean property. The pool and outdoor area was beautiful, especially the cabana to escape the heat. The staff and service overall was warm and helpful, especially Mimon who was our lovely server at dinner.
The room was spacious, well decorated, updated, and extremely clean.

4 stars only for food. imho it's Better tò have tradizionale food likes berber pizza or tajiin.

We've been at the Riad for only one afternoon and one night, yet the staying was great.
Our room was very spacious and clean, while the staff has been always nice and caring; Mubarak (the owner) in particolar enjoyed us after dinner for a little talk.
Also the position is beautiful, as the Sahara dunes are only a few minutes away and is possibile to watch the sunset from there for a breathtaking view.
In the end, definitely a recommended experience!

This hotel is a real 5++++++++++.
Perfect location to visit the desert , wide rooms extremely clean , however what will remain in your hearth is the kindness and the amazing hospitality showed by Yidir and all the folks . An other plus for the flexibility in offering service qnd swimming pool after the check out . Best accommodations for this region

Dar Morocco is a fascinating Riad in Merzouga. The dunes in front of it makes you feel you are really experiencing desert. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is kind and welcomes you with tea and biscuits. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. There is a swimming pool which is suitable for family with kids. What to say? If I come back, I’ll come back here!
