The best hotel we stayed in on our six night trip - the passion of Youssef and his team is so obvious as is the love they put into building it!

Great facilities, good food and lovely rooms. Would highly recommend. Sadly we went in January so pool was too chilly but looked lovely.

We spent 2 nights at Desert Villa (and one of them was New Year) and it was amazing.
Mohamed and all the staff were extraordinary!!
They made us feel welcome and at home. We had an amazing dinner and breakfasts are stupendous!!

The rooms are large, the bed ia amazing, the bathroom to die for!

This is a place with beauty and integrity; we had a restful sleep here. We stayed at a desert camp for the 2nd night and regretted it. Desert Villa in Merzouga is the best way to experience Morocco Sahara. Eat your dinner at the hotel too!

The best place to stay if you’re exploring the Merzouga/ Sahara desert! The rooms were beautifully fitted and comfortable and we loved spending the end of the day by the pool. The meals were excellent, after about 3 months’ travel it was nice to have dinner that tasted familiar but also showcased Moroccan produce. Amazing value for money, couldn’t recommend this place more! Also the team were incredibly hospitable, we really enjoyed our stay!

We have no doubt in our minds, that this is the best place to stay in merzouga. We checked put up to ten hotels in merzouga and everytime we were dissapointed how the rooms looked, compared to the pictures online. In this hotel it looks even better in real life! Youssef was the best host…he explained us so many things, organised per our request spontaniously trips for us and just took great care of everything. Also the hotel is so lovely built with passion and a lot of details…the staff was superfriendly and the food amazing…highly recommend and if we ever go back, we know where we‘re staying.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Merzouga, and the experience was simply outstanding. The hotel is brand new, impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. An overall excellent experience that I highly recommend.

Could not recommend staying here more. This is a must stay if you are in Mezouga. There is only 10 rooms and everything is so so beautiful, artisanal and hand carved. Its the only more upmarket place that is only owned by a local family. The food is incredible and they try and showcase other parts of the Moroccan cuisine other than tajines and couscous. The pool is beautiful, best wifi I experienced in Morocco and I just cannot stress how beautiful the owner, his story and this hotel is.

This is the best place to stay in Merzouga. We went there for 2 nights. „surprise dinner“. It was more than a surprise for a very very very good price (also surprising): Sitting on the romantic terrace of the this beautiful boutique hotel, we got 5 courses, each special, spectacular taste and beautifully put together. The staff perfectly found the way between politeness, distance and niceness. Much to recommend and would always come back!

The Desert Villa is located directly next to the desert, a few metres away from the sand. The whole building is pure art. Every corner is handmade with love and beautiful details. The rooms are modern but also catch the spirit of the region.

Apart of that, the service is outstanding. The hosts are so nice. We came hours and bleary eyed before the regular check-in time. We were warm heartedly welcomed, became breakfast and had the opportunity to choose a room.

This is the best accommodation in Merzouga. We were warmly welcomed with tea and everyone has been really friendly. Both dinner and breakfast are very delicious and rich, everything is completely new. The bed was very comfortable, spacious rooms with king size bed and high speed internet which is unusual in our other hotels in Morocco.
The level of service and hospitality is like nothing I've experienced elsewhere. I felt like a family member, every detail is like a work of art.
The main square of Merzouga is in 4 minutes walk and dunes are two minutes from the hotel making it easy to stroll over the sunset .
The second night they arrange a desert night in Mirage Luxury Camp which is absolutely amazing.

Our stay at Desert Villa was simply perfect. We travelled there and after went to their camp in the desert (Mirage Luxury Camp), and I can’t recommend enough both places. The food, the service and the accommodations were flawless. Youssef and his staff makes you feel at home. It is all brand new and very equipped. Don’t miss a chill time at the pool. And talking to the staff is also worth. If I could I would rate both places as 10 out of 5.

All the staff is very friendly, welcoming, helpful and speak multiple languages, which made the stay more comfortable.

Nice boutique hotel, located in close proximity to the sand dune and local Sahara villages. Staff are really hospitable, fun and attentive. Hotel owner offered a big bottle of mineral water before we set off for the desert sunset walk. Facilities are amazing, WiFi is very fast, bathroom is super clean and hot shower becomes available within a minute. In the hot summer season, the good air conditioner makes a huge difference. Overall experience totally exceeded expectation. Will certainly go back again for the next Sahara trip.

Excellent central location to experience Morocco's desert; right next to sand dunes; great views of the sand dunes from the large rooftop deck (and some of the rooms).

As beautiful as the hotel is, their most outstanding feature is the exceptional hospitality!! Mohamed and Amar were the absolute best hosts you can imagine.

We stopped here on our way to the camp to wait for it to cool down enough for the camel ride to the camp. The owner, Mr Youssef, is a very friendly person who offered great hospitality including the use of the outdoor pool. We also returned there the next morning to wait for our driver and were offered the same gracious hospitality.
While we didn't stay there, Mr Youssef was happy to show us the rooms. They looked clean and had all the amenities one would expect when staying there.
