Our Sahara desert experience was nothing short of magical! The traditional tents were amazing, offering all the comforts needed for an unforgettable stay. The delicious food, music, and dancing around the fire created an enchanting atmosphere. The staff's friendliness was exceptional, and Hassan, an absolute legend, stood out with his knowledge and genuine care for ensuring our best possible experience. Wonderful experience even if my wife got stung by a scorpion. Easy to book via whatsapp, nice camp, nice tents, amazing dinner and Hassan is an honest and helpful man full of knowledge. Would definetly recommend anyone to stay there - but be careful to wear shoes during the night!

If you want to visit Sahara Desert, this is the place to stay at. It's a family owned camp. They do absolutely everything possible to keep their guests comfortable and taken care of. They pick you up from Merzouga and transport you to the Camp in the middle of Sahara Desert via camels or 4x4 (your choice). We chose camel rides and our kids just loved the experience. They greet you at the Camp with tea and sweets, then take you to the dunes to see the sunset/snowboarding. Then 4 course dinner at 8pm followed by traditional music and dancing around the fire. Then stargazing and looking at the moon on top of the dunes. It was just magical.
Hassan and Idir were so welcoming. Hassan speaks so many languages and is fun to talk to. He was happy to share facts about nomad berbers and their life in general. Sooooo interesting.
Don't hesitate to book your stay with Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp, it's worth every penny!
The tents were clean, warm, crispy white linens and hot showers. They even had wool djilabas/leather slippers for each guest in the room!
We had so much fun at the Camp and our only complaint is that we didn't stay there longer!

Amazing place to stay. We booked for 2 nights and I am glad we did so! Hassan is a fantastic host! This was definitely the highlight of our roadtrip in Marroco. You should definitely consider activities such as camel riding at sunset time, 4x4 tour and buggy riding on the dunes, we did all of them and it was really worth it.
Obrigado Hassan! 😎

We booked a 2 night stay as we really wanted to enjoy a full day in the camp. We arrived late on our first day at around 18:30 and had a welcome tea. We were then taken to watch the sunset by a 4x4 - our driver was keen to take pictures of us and everyone on our car. We came back and around 20:30 dinner was served. Then we enjoyed local music. The next day we booked ATVs (which are paid organized by the camp). Our ATV guide was professional and the ATVs were brand new along with clean and really good helmets. You can also get a paid tour in the Sahara by a 4x4 but we decided not take it as we wanted some time to chill and experience the camp. The guys at the camp are very friendly and it’s a pleasure having a conversation with them. Hassan we always available and even brought my friend a cigar pack as we ran out of Dhirams. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. WiFi connection was good. Book your stay on this camp and you surely won’t regret it!

Small camp, just 8 tents/rooms. Arrived in the afternoon, around 18 tea was served, and then after sunset tasty 4 course dinner. Then some singing etc by the fire, star gazing and speaking about meaning of life with locals :) In the morning after sun rise breakfast with wide selection. Tents warm also now at the beginning of March. Comfy bed, fully equipped bathroom with warm water. There was also wifi if you need it for whatever reason in the desert. The most important thing, all is included in booking price, only surcharge (20€ per person) is if you wanna use camels instead of 4x4 for your way to/from camp. No scam, nice people.

From the moment you arrive till the second you leave you feel like family. It was the highlight of my Moroccan sojourn. The camp is super cozy and has everything you could need to enjoy the Sahara Desert. Thank for a wonderful experience. Truly a dream come true. 🙏

You’ll be well taken care of here. Super kind multilingual hosts. We were here on Christmas Eve and while a little chilly at night, we were warm under the cozy blankets. With beautiful clear skies, we saw the twinkling of stars like we’ve never have- that alone was worth the trip. The dunes are magnificent and best enjoyed on a camel. The camel ride was slow, easy, and thoroughly enjoyed by kids and adults. This is our first time in the desert and so glad we did. You may not live in the desert, but they treat you life family here.

The best experience we've had in Morroco hands down partly thanks to amazing and caring staff. Special shout out to Hassan who is a superb host and wonderful guy who speaks like every language. Very well organised activities ranging from an unreal sunset to great entertainment around the campfire. The food was fantastic too!! I actually can't recommend this place enough especially if you have kids. I don't think I've done a review for a couple of years so you know this must be special.

The resort is in the Centre of the desert. The manager will greet you in Merzouga, tell you the safe place to park your car and drive you through the desert into the camp, or you can pay€20 to ride a camel in. The staff is very nice! You remind the guests what time the sunset and sunrise and drive you to the top of the sand dunes to watch. You can also play sand boarding . The dinner and breakfast are included , far more than I expected!

I cannot recommend Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp enough! The service and hospitality received was above and beyond what we expected. Shout out to Hassan and everyone! We were able to leave our rental in a safe area then took a fun drive to camp. We originally planned to stay for 1 night but extended for another as we enjoyed our time there so much. Our hosts were so accommodating and we were able to ride ATVs in the Sahara, sandboard the sandy slopes and ride camels as we watched the sunset. Dinner was cooked fresh each night and each thing was delicious.

Amazing place to stay in the hearth of the Sahara desert. Our host, Hassan was really friendly and welcome us with the typical marrocan tea after an one hour camel ride for getting to the hotel. The meals were authentic and after the dinner we enjoy our time playing music and dancing by the bonfire. In the morning we saw the sunrise with an amazing view and did some sandboard. I recommend this hotel if u want an unforgettable experience.

We had the most incredible stay at Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp. Special shout out to our host, Hassan who made our experience perfect as he was accommodating, super friendly, and not to mention a fun driver! We were picked up by camels and rode into the camp which was well-equipped with a pool, sandboards, areas to lounge and stargaze, wifi, private showers/bathrooms, welcome tea and delicious dinner and breakfast. Hassan drove us to a lookout point to watch the sunset and even did a wake up call to make sure we were up to watch the sunrise. You couldn’t really ask for more for your stay in the heart of the Sahara Desert! I highly recommend this camp for your Sahara Desert experience!

Great camp. Hassan is a great guy and it’s worth to stay there just to meet him and talk to him. We had a great time. If you wonder how does the whole thing look; you getting picked up in LandCruiser and have an amazing ride through Sahara sand dunes to the camp. Spacious tents with shower and toilet. Food and breakfast, music fire and Berber tea. Easy to walk or have camel ride to see sunset or sunrise. Staff is welcoming and will do a lot to accommodate your needs. Waka waka!

Very good communication with the hosts, they speak a number of different languages; english, french, german which was a welcome surprise. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and welcoming; we spent a little more time with Hassan than the rest of the staff and he was super nice, incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable about the area, gave us an unforgettable ride to the top of the dunes to see the sunset as well as kept us happy the whole time. Incredibly indulgent with everything.
When you first come to Merzouga, you get escorted to a safe parking lot to leave your car inside a walled house with a locked gate so it feels safe leaving it there. After a great SUV ride through the desert you come to the well kept camp; the tents are in good shape with luxurious carpets on the floors, a big comfortable bed and a bathroom and shower with running water, it also has Wifi!
The dinner was good with a huge variety of food for all tastes - we were served in front of the tent - a candlelit dinner for two. The after dinner program involved some Berber music and dancing around a big fire - all in all an unforgettable experience with lots of great photo opportunities! Would not hesitate to recommend this to friends and would gladly visit again.

We stayed here for a night and wished we could stay longer. The hosts in the camp were exceptional. They were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Not only did they prepare our delicious food, we were also entertained by them in the evening with their traditional music instruments. Be prepared for dinner with a big appetite as you’ll get to dine like a royal! Thank you for making our Sahara experience a special one!

P/S: If you’re looking to join a tour, I’d recommend Marvelous Morocco Tour as the owner of the tour company owns this campsite.
