Restaurant El Khaima

We had an incredible meal at El Khaima. We had the monkfish and the John Dory, with a Moroccan salad. The fish was delicious and the salad so fresh. Best meal we had in the whole city - couldn't believe it was so poorly rated as the food and the service were top notch.

If you're going to a seafood restaurant, eat the freshly caught seafood, otherwise what do you expect?

Very friendly, very tasty, authentic food and drinks. We don’t understand all people here who underrate this place. Do not believe fake ratings!

Nice restaurant with a terrace. They have a 3 course meal for 125 DH and the quality of the food was great. Fish soup was delicious and the sole fresh and tasty.

They do receive big groups of tourists so service might be a bit slow.

Highly recommended.

We were almost leaving, after checking the rating here ... Happily we did not, everything was very tasty, friendly service and nice terasse with evening sun ☀

Clean restaurant, very hygenic kitchen and staff members. The owner is very accommodating and comprehends a vast amount of languages including French, Spanish, Arabic and English.
Bread and Olives served before the meal were fresh.
I ordered the Lasagna which was cooked to perfection. Excellent combination of pasta, minced meat (Fresh), cheese and spice.
Excellent location, slight fresh sea breeze without the bustling Medina rush.
I will surely eat here again.

Excellent local wine (from Casablanca) came with olives and bread. The grilled sardines were a suprisingingly large portion for the price. I would highly recommend a visit for a mid-day beverage and snack.

Non capisco certe recensioni negativi.. è un ristorante per turisti? Si è allora? Io mi sono trovato più che bene, il pesce era ottimo e il tajine ancor di più. I prezzi leggermente altri rispetto alla media, ricordiamoci che siamo in un posto turistico
Noi abbiamo preso un insalata marocchina un piatto di sarde due tajine. Un piatto di ti se o dolci caffè e vino locale per 51 mad non è poco ma abbiamo mangiato molto e di qualità

Surprise d’une note aussi basse pour une qualité aussi élevée.
L’entrée avec les sardines et frites ont la quantité d’un plat principal. 7 très très grosses sardines et des frites pour 6 euros! Une assiette composée de 2 et 1/2 langoustes ( pas langoustines !), moules, crevettes et calamar pour 35 euros ! Et un couscous marocain pour 9 euros ! Pizza aux fruits de mer excellente . Difficile d’exiger plus pour ce prix là. Tout était parfait

Consigliatoci dalla nostra guida, locale caratteristico locale molto vivace nei colori, situato in una piazzetta. Dotato di terrazza che dà appunto sulla piazza. Abbiamo mangiato dei calamari fritti con verdure cotte e delle sarde con patate fritte, dei dolcetti secchi locali e un creme caramel con dell'acqua. Tutto molto buono, per essere in Marocco abbiamo pagato un po' tanto, rispetto alla media , 280 DHR in due circa 28 euro. Il servizio è stato veloce e i camerieri simpatici.

Buen restaurante en el centro de la medina de Essaouira.
Los camareros son super amables, la comida, en concreto el pescado y marisco espectacular, todo fresco y bien cocinado.
Todo perfecto.

Une place magnifique.. le restaurant est idéal pour un repas de midi.. un service agréable et les serveurs tous joyeux et souriants.. les plats délicieux et savoureux avec une saveur Marocaine..

Estaba limpio, te atienden bien y rápido.

Los platos que pedimos muy ricos y la cantidad ideal para no llenarte ni quedarte con hambre.

La pastilla o pastela podia tener algo más de sabor pero bien.

El tajin muy rico.

El te le faltaba algo de azúcar quizás y el café estaba bueno.

nous sommes venus dans ce restaurant et avons été super bien accueilli par le superbe sourire d’abdou, sa gentillesse et sa bonne humeur. Nous nous sommes régalés !

J'y retournerai les yeux fermés, c'était très bon. J'ai cependant retiré une étoile pour le service car malgré que le restaurant était vide ce soir-là, nous avons été un peu oubliés par le serveur.
