Port de Essaouira is a must-see if you reach this city. There were loads of cats 🥰 which made it even better. The experience is different. The noise smells and people activities make it unique. You can buy from there all sorts of fish
Recommend this place 👌 👏

Great place to visit, very photogenic, make sure to pay to visit the Fort on the way. Scenic and busy (in a good way).

One of the best photo point in Essaouira - Suveyra. Here is fisherman and fish shop area. Smell, fish, boat, work, sea and tourist here. You can take photo to gate, sea, fish, castle, seagull and etc. Try to best osyter and mussel. Be care; if you it in street lot of seagull will be your friend :) in rampage area lot of boats onboard.

I think that my comment may not be known about the city of Essaouira, the port is staggering in history ..
You will be dazzled by the place. I just want to tell you if you like seafood and fish then you are in the right place.
You will find vendors selling seafood on the spot, so do not be shy about taking your time and eating it on the spot, and enjoy the place ..

Old part of the town, small streets, near good fish market and place to eat local fresh sea food. Also popular for the scenes from Game of thrones. Can be really windy. Also good place to watch sunrise or sunset. Enjoyed this little town by the ocean

The entrance fee is 10 dirham. Not a big place, you can walk it around and make pictures in maximum half an hour. But it has a beautiful view for the sea, the old town and the fishing port. There are some little islands in front with the ruins of a medieval fortress.

This place is amazing. The wind is so powerful just as essaouira is known for fast and strong wind. The water is in 3 shades of blue and don’t mix, the sky is blue and the pictures are beautiful. The Canon is from Barcelona.

Excellent day out. Historical port. Had a guide who was very informative about the Portuguese quarter,Jews quarter and Muslim quarter. Stopped at a little restaurant and sat at the top overlooking the main shopping strip. Well worth a visit :-)

Really interesting place to visit in the city. Even if you don't like the fish, it's really
Interesting just to walk there.

Lots of blue boats. Bring your camera and best filters. It is quite a view, once all the boats are back in the harbor. It can be windy. Come prepared.

Very cool old Portuguese citadel in Essaouira. A place which has acted as a movie set and stage for many great productions such as Game of thrones, Kingdom of heaven and Othello.

Do visit, it's a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech after a few days in the midst of the souks and disorder of the markets.

This an historic citadel with many cannons from the 1700s that are in beautiful shape. It's not an elaborate fort but the views from the tower are great - both the coastline and the marina with all the fishing boats and nets. Also fun to walk the streets when you leave. It's very easy to find your way is Essaouira, so have fun and explore!

One of the best kept secrets in Morocco! Must come for a day trip! Worth the trip.
Seafood galore at great cheap price. Buy the seafood from the fisherman and have it cooked on the spot local resto. God I miss this place.
