Sqala du Port d'Essaouira

The fact that game of thrones was shot here really made my heart full. Such a beautiful city and the people are all lovely. Loved Essaouria. There was a woman cleaning the steps early at 6am. They truly care about keeping the area beautiful.

This was a day trip (having stayed in Marrakech for the majority of our stay). This was definitely a pleasant change of scenery! It's somewhat quieter compared to Marrakech, the beach is relaxing and plenty of options to eat and stay. If you're coming to Marrakech, make sure to stop by here!

It is worth for the famous Blue Boats of Essaouira. Full of good people, selling fish and sea food on the street, you can’t miss this place of you go in Essaouira.

Very good views both from the walls and from the tower. Also a good place to take unobtrusive photos of the adjacent fish market.

Interesting place to visit See the local fishermen selling their daily catch. Have your fish grilled on the spot

Nicely preserved Portuguese castle - very little of the usual faked renovations so what you see is the real deal. This is a favourite photo spot with the round opening looking over the city that everyone uses to get a great picture. The views from the top of the castle are great too.

Authentic place, watch out for seagulls!

Great place for pictures, to buy souvenirs and to enjoy some local sweets. Recommended to visit must for the view.

Amazing views of the powerful Atlantic waves as they crush the beach.

Fish markets, boats all next to the old Portuguese battlements. Smells like fish - surprise surprise.

It's one of the old Medina in Essaouira there's a quaint building. And calm place.
