the atm is on the poste office building and does not charge usage fees but your bank probably will. oddly, this Al Barid bank atm shows up as BAM in my transaction statement which is the initials of Bank Al-Maghrib so not sure what to make of that since that's a different bank.

Honestly looked so sketchy but Chefchaouen was my first stop in Morocco so I didn’t realise this is the best bank for getting money out. I used this ATM multiple times and also the al barid atms in Fes and was never charged a penny or ripped off in any way. All the other ATMs charge quite large fees so save yourself the money and go here.
