Great hiking in beautiful nature.
I hiked along the river bed to the base of God's Bridge then returned to the junction and hiked up another few gorges to the main waterfall. The path is good a bit slippery with loose gravel in places. The bird song is nice and I saw monkeys and nice wild flowers. There are plenty of places to swim. The views are great, the main waterfall had very little water but it was nice to get there. Both walks took me approx 5 hours in total. The car park is good and cost me 15md for the day. Highly recommend 👌

Amazing nature and a way full of adventure. We we're here in Summer and we swan in lakes. Food in bistros are delicious and for great price. People in Chauen are very kind.

We were on this National Park to admire nature. Here, passing restaurant/snacks, it is possible to connect with the elements sorounding: the water so closeby, the animals doing their thing, the colours of the vast mountains, the trees and shrubs.
It's really beautiful and worth.
We were lucky to go on a december sunny morning and have a calm walk all the way.
Not to be missed.

We did the trail to the small and larger cascades in early december on a sunny mid-morning, leaving Chefchaouen at 10h30.
It was fantástic! The trail os not really entirely marked but it's easy to find, with the help of local restaurant/café keepers.
The nature is beautiful: Animals, trees and shrubs, singing birds, the water all along and the amazing colours of the tall mountains.
Make sure to bring appropriate shoes.

A long, but easy walk that was very beautiful.
Make sure to follow the path to the left at the dam, and then left again at the cafe/little waterfall. If not, you will follow a path that leads to the hotel and/or the Bridge of God.
Also, the taxi there should be about 150 MAD per car or 30 MAD per person for 5 people.

Definitely one of the highest moments of the trip... from Chefchaouen it's about one hour drive through roads that I never thought I would put a car into. But I did and I really enjoyed it. Once in Akchour with the car parked there is people offering to guide you till the Grand Cascade but in my opinion is a waste of money to pay them... it's perfectly possible to reach the cascade without their help. I have the app maps.me and it shows the trail exactly till there and that's what I did. It's a 2 hours walk in the middle of the nature without any rush. Along the way it's possible to find people seeking drinks, fruit, tajine. It's a walk that should be done if you have time for it. The waterfall itself looks great but doesn't have much water running down on it. Regardless that it worth for the combo of waterfall/walk.

If you are a fan of climbing and jogging you should give this place a visit it's one of the best places that I've ever been it has waterfalls all over the way and in the end there is a giant waterfall with a magnificent View . You can stop whenever and wherever you want and swim or have your lunch , there are some local restaurants all the way up that offer delicious moroccan food at a very good price.

I didn't expect the way to this waterfall to be amazing, it's like a another planet full of trees and hidden natural life.

Relatively dried up when we visited (August) but still a beautiful hidden location within the Moroccan mountains.

Beautiful setting (although lack of recent rainfall meant the pool at the bottom of the waterfall was a bit dry). Small cafe at the waterfall selling juice etc - other food options very limited after going past the small waterfalls on the walk in.

Beautiful hike - petit waterfall is just ok so plan to go 2 hours one way to the grande. During peak season, there are many restaurants along the way with neon chairs/table throughout which slightly mar the visual experience, however also provide chances for refreshment.
Be aware that the climate is very arid and in late May was sweltering - prepare to bring and drink more water than you would budget for similar hikes in milder climates, while not technically very difficult this still makes it draining

Amazing view. It takes 2 hours by walking hence you should definitely take your trekking shoes . Worth to see it.
