Friendly staff, warm and relaxing atmosphere, good service. We walked there from our hotel and were quite pleasantly surprised.

A bit tricky to find, but worth it. Beautiful interior, warm, friendly staff, and generous portions. We had some croquettes to start and a mixed seafood dish to share. The seafood was amazing. Prawns, monkfish, swordfish, octopus, squid, and tiny sweet clams, all grilled to perfection. Very reasonable price, too.

Hands down the best place to have seafood in Essaouira. We have been here three times over our four day stay in Essaouira. They happily organised some lobsters and monkfish for my birthday lunch after we had talked with them the night before . My partner and I live in Sydney Australia and I am a chef . The clams , octopus, and ceps causoulet is a must do, house made white anchovie are the best I have ever had. A big thank you to the whole team at Riad Zahra the service and hospitality is incredible. I would recommend this place to any lover of good seafood.

Excellent sea food and also grilled steak. The food was really great and the service very quick and extremely friendly. A hidden gem in Essaouira. We started with the fresh grilled shrimps and for main course went "surf & turf" by combining the grilled gambas (lots of them) with an exceptionally well grilled steak. I highly recommend !!! P.S. the beautiful sunset from the rooftop location is free of charge :-)

Great food - all the fish products are fresh and cooked to perfection. The carpacio of monk fish is out of this world and don't miss out on the clams either

Really, if you do not like this place then you do not like grilled fish.. best seafood in Morocco, period. The place is magnificent, the son of the owner brings you the dishes.. sunset is breathtaking.. please please if you are not a nice person who complains about everything and is looking for needles in haystacks, then go eat somewhere else: tables are limited and always hard to find, we will all thank you for it!

All very good. The owner looked after us personally. The octopus salad was excellent. So was the fish and seafood bisque. Then came the huge plancha grilled platter of sword fish, monk fish, clams, king prawns, rice and fries. We could not finish it all. Just go there and enjoy. Highly recommended.

We stayed here and only discovered by chance about the restaurant - currently downstairs. We had our last holiday dinner here: superb fish menu, lovely service, tasty local rosé. Highly highly recommend and was the perfect end to a fab holiday. Thank you.

Really enjoyed this roof top restaurant. I went by the pictures when chosing it and they did exceed my expectations. Worth every penny!!! Excellent value for money. You can expect a real fish restaurant offering a classic cuisine with a creative touch. Needless to stress that Essaouira's harbor delivers excellent seafood but it takes a chef to add some magic ... here with a Spanish touch ... a must dine if you are into excellent food.

Excellent food, seafood was really good and fresh (although they used maybe too much butter in one of the dish ordered...). The one waiter is very professional and efficient. But expect a slow food service (+ 2h for a 3 service diner, just like in Europe)

One of our favourite meals of the trip. So glad we booked. The paella was delicious and the service was great.
