Beach and Friends

There are many spots to enjoy the sunset in Essaouira but if you're looking for one that serves adult beverages this one is a dandy!
They serve beer (bottled and draft), cocktails and wine. The draft beer was cool, good and hit the spot for an evening aperitf.
Try getting there a bit earlier to stake out your part of real estate.
Prices are what I expected for getting alcohol in a country that doesn't partake...
There was live music on a Monday evening which added a nice touch as well.
The view is spectacular but expect to get harassed by the camel and horse 'caretakers' if you arrive by foot. They are pretty harmless but can be a bit annoying.

An interesting combination of a bar beach and restaurant, with plenty of sand on the tables, cats wandering around, but with surprisingly decent food. While it took forever to have our orders taken, the live music compensated for the wait. Overall, a good place to enjoy the sunset, albeit on the expensive side. Card payment is accepted.

Of the 4 venues at this end of the beach in Essaouira, this was easily our favourite as it has such a relaxed vibe. Amazing views at sunset and the music from next door, was for us with two grown up kids, an added bonus.
We came for both brunch and dinner on separate occasions and neither disappointed. Great value and very helpful staff. Just as a beach bar should be!!

Delicious food and friendly staff but the location is the biggest selling point: an ideal spot to eat and rest at after a day of beach fun, with camel and horse rides right next door

This place is nice I would love to go there if I come back to essaouira

One of the best places to go to for a chilled afternoon/sunset time! You’re on the beach, enjoying the sunset while listening to music, prices are fair, yes service is not the fastest but you can go to the bar and ask, that didn’t bother us too much. What you see is what you get :)

Great place to relax have a drink have some fantastic food. It's right on the beach and the view is wonderful, also the staff is so hard working to make sure you get everything you need.

By Moroccan standards, this place is pricey, but for a great steak filet dinner with a good bottle of wine, live music, and a sunset view of the beach it was well worth it. Love this place.

I must commend your restaurant on its exceptional wine selection. The sommelier's knowledge and recommendations were spot-on, and it truly enhanced our dining experience. We'll definitely be returning for more 👏👏

We liked it! All food was fresh, tasty and well presented. After a few days of traditional Marrocon food, this was a fresh western break :)

This is a nice beach bar. We went here after a horse riding trip and it was the perfect place to end up. There’s a decent selection of both food and drinks, and the deep fried prawns were tasty. We had beers and an obligatory Sex on the Beach which were both good. It’s not cheap, but being in a tourist city and right on the beach, it’s about what you’d expect. I’d recommend it for a chilled night. We were there on a Tuesday at around 8pm and there was live music. I can’t speak to it being Afro-Western-Punk as the reviewer below mentioned, but it was definitely good.

A very nice and cozy place with splendid vue of the beach and good music situated at the far end of the beach from the Medina (less than 4min by cab and around 20min a pied) . It has many setups so you have a large selection of spaces to sit in, my favorite was the sun loungers were you can lay back and soak in the sun and the incredibly view of the beach and camels /horses passing by.
The service is sometimes a little bit slow (i had a hard time getting the attention of staff members) plus you get disturbed with hawkers trying to sell stuff..
Still, will definitely go back there

One of my favorite places in the city, it has direct access to the beach, opens all day, great food, and a nice place to grab a drink or just coffee and watch sunset 🌅
The spot is just lovely and cozy and the team working there are lovely as well !

On of the best if not the best chill bar in essaouira! Right next to all of the Kite/Surf/Windsurf schools and rents, long sandy beach, there are camels everywhere on the beach to get some rides horses, friendly people and a lot of sports! If you like water sports the wind and the sun, beer and good relaxing place, this is the place to be! Also almost every night there is live music, singers, bands, electronic DJs. You get everything here!

One of my best places to be whenever I come to Essaouira, I highly recommend.

This is the most amazing place, right on the beach, good food, really friendly service, great for couples and for the whole family. Views on the sea and the kite surfing. It’s a haven of calm during the day, end of the week there is amazing live music in the evening

This whole place is great. This might be the coolest place I’ve ever been in my entire life. We had an incredible pizza and we drank some very wonderful water.
Even the old Europeans are great.
We might come over here later to drink a nice cold beer.

Great place, with a really nice food, had a Thai vegan salad - delicious, service relatively fast. Nice atmosphere. Recommended.
