Great place - we just stopped for lunch on the way to Zagora but you can park right by the entrance and we were welcomed in by the kind guys who also showed our kids how to drum! The food was simple and tasty and good value. Right next to the kasbah which you can also visit. Fantastic views from the roof terrace where we ate. Thank you!

Def worth a stop here to stroll around in this beautiful kasbah and have a lovely lunch with a view. Food and service was great, would def come back here soon again.

Very good place filled with authenticity next to very old kasbah (castle) built by mid and clay. In the heart of the draa valley oasis surrounded by palm trees all over. Traditional tasty food and good music at night

Great view on the palmeria. Right next to an old kasbah
Good was good and plentifull (as usual in morroco)
Choice was not the greatest but the tourist favourites were there
The owner is super friendly
Price was completely OK bordering on cheap

Beautiful place, fantastic view from the restaurant terrace, surrounded by palm trees. Great tasty food for a good price. And very friendly and caring staff. Would highly recommend.

Exemplary tagines in splendidly arcaded and galleried inner courtyard of ancient crumbling Kasbah. Has a 14th centrury feel to the place, almost monastic. Nice views of the palmerie if you take your mint tea from the roof terrace

Village in Morocco

Tamnougalt is a kasbah and date palm oasis in the Atlas Mountains, and located in the Draa River valley in Morocco, some 75 kilometers south of Ouarzazate. The village is close to Agdz and has a famous kasbah. The Jbel Kissane rises to the north dominating the landscape. It is the former capital of the Mezguita region and residence of former caïds. Its name means 'meeting point' in Tachelhit. source
