We visited Saida and her family as a group and had a wonderful experience. We were show through the home and given an explanation on their way of life, their traditions, where they cook, the gardens and their animals. Saida is striving to improve the lives of the women in her village by providing them with an income for the woven products they make and helping them to become independent.
We took a hike from her home over to the village and the experience was unforgettable, a once in a lifetime opportunity. The family also provided us with traditional home cooked meals and entertainment.
I thoroughly recommend visiting Saida and supporting the Berber women.

What an experience! Saida graciously let me and 14 others into her house for a cooking lesson and tour. It was amazing to see Berber life first hand and to learn about Saida’s life and Moroccan culture. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity! Thank you, Saida!

What an outstanding and unforgettable experience we had when visiting Saida early in the new year. Quite honestly my wife, son and I were totally unprepared for such astonishing generosity from Saida. We thought we were going to make a quick visit to a Berber home. Instead we were treated to a delicious meal (catered to our own special dietary requirements) and unbelievable hospitality from Saida. She is truly a most remarkable woman. She showed us around her home and farmland and explained everything about the life of her family. Then she really astounded us by demonstrating her command of modern technology which she uses to promote her business venture. Oh, and I almost forgot to add what clear and beautiful English she speaks (self-taught as she reminded us!). If you get the opportunity to stay at Saida's home for a few days then I urge you to take it. We shall certainly do so next time we travel to Morocco. Saida, you are a special lady and we thank you so much for our time with you and wish you every success for the future. Best wishes from Malcolm, Mary and Aaron Goldstein

This is a beautiful property up in the Atlas Mountains. The air was fresh and Saida was such a warm and welcoming host. I enjoyed cooking the chicken Tajine and watching the process of making bread from scratch! I’m definitely going back there and recommend others to visit as well!

You will love the experience of the village, meeting the women who work in making the carpets (and seeing the kids since the preschool is next door!), and getting to know Saida. A bonus is you can buy the beautiful carpets for a steal and support women in the community directly.

A visit to Saida's Berber House is always a highlight for my group retreats in Marrakech. It's a chance to experience the "real" Morocco, with lunch in a family home and a lovely hike to the village above where Saida sponsors a women's carpet cooperative. All the women and people there are so lovely and friendly and Saida is an inspiration to women everywhere :)

Saida is wonderful and inspiring! She walked us through how to make tagine, bread, and tea. Her home is welcoming and she gave us a tour and shared about her business and her day-to-day life. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a unique and unmatched experience.

In a remote area of the mountains, this place is well worth the journey!! Saida welcomed us completely during Ramadan, providing an excellent meal and even better hospitality. Her family was all very kind and helpful. Saida herself is an incredible and inspiring woman and I’m grateful she sat down to chat with us over a mint tea. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Our only regret was coming in the pitch black of night but i imagine the view is stunning on the side of the mountain during day time. Couldn’t recommend more!

Visiting Saida's home was hands-down one of my favorite experiences in Morocco! She has an amazing story, and my group loved hearing about her life and the work she is doing. She taught us to make a delicious meal and was very patient with those of us who aren't skilled cooks. I would love to return to Morocco for a stay at Saida's home. Even if you have limited time in the Marrakech area, visiting Saida is simply a must.

We loved our visit with Saida! Our time in the village was a breath of fresh air after spending several days in Marrakech. Saida and her family are very kind, welcoming, and inspiring. We felt like we really learned a lot about Amazigh/Berber culture and appreciated Saida's own story of strength, resilience, and vision. I will definitely be back with future retreats. Shukran Saida!

My family (husband and I and our 15 and 12 year old boys) visited Saida’s house today. It was the absolute highlight of our trip to Marrakech. When our Riad host mentioned our tour of the Atlas Mountains could include a home visit I had no idea what to expect. I thought it could be awkward or touristy and this was neither. We learnt so much about village life and living in Morocco as well as Saida’s inspirational journey to change her own life as well as those of her neighbours. Each guest is given so much individual time and attention but at the same time left to enjoy their individual group time. Thoroughly recommend.

Discover the authentic berber life, off the beaten tracks. Dont’t look any further, Saida is your perfect host.
We were picked up by Mustapha in his 4x4 car at our hotel in Marrakech for a 1h30 drive to the south, leaving the hectic city behind us. At Saida’s family house we got cooking class and prepared a chicken tajine with Saida and her mum. Her brother took us for a great walk in the mountains and through the old village. After lunch, plenty of time to chill on the terrace with a view on the mountains and mint tea.
And a perfect closure of the day with a passage through the Agafay desert, by Mustapha who brought us safely back to Marrakech. Choukrane, Saida

As a group of ten we visited for a cookery class. Very enjoyable day spent cooking, learning about how the family live and finally eating some amazing food. Best meal I had in Morocco. Highly recommend.

Sada was amazing with giving my retreat participants undefined attention about her culture and more. The lunch was so delicious. Thank you for opening your home to us. See you again!

We had such an amazing experience visiting Saida’s house and hiking to her village, taking a peek at the daily lives of the berbers. Saida is such an inspiration, she’s passionate about improving the livelihood of her family and her village. And the status of women in her culture. On top of that, their home cooked Tagine was so delicious! It was the highlight of our holiday in Marrakesh.

I had the opportunity to spend 5 days at the Saida Berber House and I loved the experience from the very beginning to the very end! During my stay, my host Saida, who runs the family business took amazing care of me. I mainly travelled there in order to create a vowen rug with the local artisans, however I got to experience so much more. Saida showed me around and organised a visit to the local village, weaving cooperative and olive oil mill; she and her family cooked the most delicious food and served the sweetest berber whiskey. The accomodation was comfortable too. Once again, thank you for your care and hospitality! What a great way to immerse one's self in Berber culture! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the experience! 100% reccomended! <3
