I had a lovely time visting this landmark. There is ample sitting spot and excellent people watching. While sitting I used this time to paint, also was able to speak to some locals who were mostly curious what I was doing!

Beautiful souk. My favorite one in all Morocco. If you stop by Rabat I highly recommend you to stop by.

Eine Stadtmauer verläuft um die Altstadt mehrere Kilometer lang, mit vielen verschiedenen Toren die zur alten Medina führen. Die Altstadt hat viele kleine Gassen, Moscheen, geheiligten Stätten mit verschiedenen Souks, es wird immer gut gepflegt gehalten und es ist nicht überfüllt von Touristen und Motorrädern wie in Marrakesh. Rabat ist eine sehr schöne romantische und historische Stadt.

Lieu historique de Rabat en plein cœur du centre ville. Édifice du 12e siècle connu pour avoir était un lieu d'exécution pour les meurtriers.

Lieux de passage importants ou il est bon de flâner à côté de sa fontaine lors des fortes chaleurs.

La Place Bab El Had est simplement magnifique !
Sa beauté traditionnelle et son ambiance vivante captivent à chaque visite. Un véritable joyau à Rabat qui captive l'essence même de la culture locale.
La Place Bab El Had est bien plus qu'une porte.
Elle est le passage authentique menant à la pointe sud-ouest de la Médina. C'est le seul accès à travers la muraille préservée qui continue de relier le passé et le présent. Un lieu emblématique qui relie les époques.
