Another great restaurant in this hidden square inside the Medina which houses several other great restaurants. One of the owners, Tarek, was the perfect host, warm and attentive. Very much enjoyed our meal. We got the menu du jour which was great value for money. All our dishes were tasty and well-executed. Highly recommended.

The food here is stupendous, hands down the best pastillas I've had in Morocco. The service is incredibly kind. It can be somewhat difficult to find with Google maps, but please pursue! This is a must for Essaouira! I ate here 3 times in a span of 2 days! And to top it all off its at least HALF the price as surrounding restaurants! Be sure to leave a good tip, they absolutely deserve it 😄

We stayed in Essaouira 2 nights. We have dinner here with Sardines grill and Mix seafood. Really good so we came back again for lunch next day.
Price is quite reasonable. 2 dishes with sparkling water at 145 dham.
Cozy and excellent service.

My favorite dinner after trying many places during my 2 weeks in Essaouira. The vegetarian pastilla was delicious and so were the appetizer and dessert. Nice fresh juices too. The chef is very nice and made excellent recommendations. Very fairly priced too. I highly recommend this place

We spent 4 days in Essaouria and we ate at this restaurant 3 times and had a take away. The food is amazing and it is well priced. My husband is vegan and the chef was very happy to make a vegan pastilla with chickpeas for him. I had a chicken pastilla, a chicken tagine. We also had chips, a lentil tagine and the calamari. Very friendly and efficient service and absolutely delicious. Would recommend and would return.

Excellent vegetarian (50MAD) and meat eater's (60 MAD) lunch specials. I had the vegetarian cous cous and my husband had kefta tajine. We both started with soup...vege for me and harira for him. Both were among the best we've had in Morocco. They start you with the usual bread and olives but this bread was the best. Ending with mint tea and fresh orange slices dusted with cinnamon... perfect. The service was excellent; friendly, kind, and our waiter spoke English. He had no problem accommodating my pepper allergy. I know I've said "best" a lot but in our 3 weeks so far in Morocco this simple place gave us one of the best meals we've had.

We had dinner here twice. Lovely cosy restaurant, very tasty food and friendly owner and personel. They fed the stray cats on the square. Super sweet!

Loved dinner at this cozy restaurant. Tables outside on the square or inside. Very friendly owners. I asked if they had Schweppes Citron and I think he went to buy it for me from a store next to it. We each selected a meal deal with a starter and had a drink (soda). Total bill 190 MAD.

Amazing. This little restaurant gets over shadowed by some of the larger flashier restaurants in the area but should not be over looked. The food is absolutely fantastic and half the price of the larger restaurants.

The couple that runs it is incredibly sweet and makes the best chicken pastilla in the world! They offer three course menus between 60 and 90 Dirham, and every single dish was prepared with love!

Had a 2 week surf and yoga holiday in Essaouira so as you can imagine I ate in a lot of different restaurants in that time. Bearing in mind that I didnt eat in high end restaurants, this little restaurant was the best value and the best tasting food that I found. It was good enough for me to come back 3 times. The food tastes good, is traditionally Moroccan and is located in a pretty little square and so is more relaxed. If you're looking for a suggestion, try the meat and vegetable cous cous... My wife and I went there a few days ago late afternoon. The restaurant is located in an isolated square where you have about 6-8 restaurants. The restaurant is small with a few table outside. We had the special with an appetizer, main course and a dessert for an excellent quality price ratio.
They served a great salad and for me the breouate; typical from Morroco half with cheese and the other half with meat. You could tell they were done on site.
Main course, seafood tagine and fish and vegetables for me.
A big size of fresh fish similar to a swordfish with 5 different types of vegetables. The desserts were simple but fresh and tasty. All this at a very reasonable price with top service. For these reasons a feel comfortable rating this restaurant a 5 stars.

The restaurant is located at a square where a few Restaurants are. Friendly staff that is welcoming you with good dishes for a good price. I have been here twice and can really recommend it!

SO YUM. We got the Briouates aux crevettes (cheese samosas) so yum! Similar cheese to goats cheese maybe? And the Pastilla aux legumes (vege) probably our fav meal so far here. A filo curried wrap.
