Salt House... a place I adore
When you go to Salt House, you don't just get another surf camp, you get a family. I really felt at home there, the owner and all the instructors have amazing energy and are ready to smile and create good times for the guests. And when it's time to go surfing, you can be sure that they will take the time to correct you and give you all the tips they have. You won't starve at Salt House, because you will always be served delicious food, and if you are craving for a snack or a coffee, don't worry, there are some coffee shops just a few minutes away. If you want to see the beautiful Moroccan sunsets, you don't have to go far, the best ones are from the terrace of the Salt House.
Overall, thank you for this experience, and for everyone I met, I really loved it and can't wait to come back.

I had an incredible surf trip at Salt House in Morocco! My progress in surfing was remarkable, thanks to excellent guidance. The delicious food and welcoming crew created an amazing atmosphere. Great morning and evening yoga. Overall, a fantastic experience for both surfing and enjoying the company of great people.

I had an amazing experience at the Salt house! The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff and instructors were great, and the accommodation was comfortable. Yoga sessions with Robyn were a highlight. The food was delicious, bursting with fresh flavors. The only suggestion I would offer for improvement is to consider changing up the skatepark occasionally. During my 7-day stay, we visited the same skatepark three times, which felt a bit repetitive. Otherwise, everything was fantastic, and I can't wait to return and catch more waves in such a beautiful setting!

The food was fresh & delicious!

The surf instructors were very knowledgeable and they really helped us to improve our surfing technique by giving us feedback and tips. They are passionate about what they do & always make sure you are having fun.

It was my first time doing yoga so I wasn't sure about it, but I need to admit... I am now converted! It was really enjoyable and helped my muscles recover in between surfing sessions.

It was our first time in Morocco & won't be the last. We were looked after by the whole team at Salt House and we made some great friends along the way!

I stayed at Salt House in April and had the best time there.
The group is small and you share everything and eat together at the big table on the roof. Mustapha was always there to help and answer questions in the house and the food was soooo good, always fresh and something new every day, especially the Tajine which we even had on the beach one day.
Sometimes, there is time to just hang out on the rooftop and make some music (make sure to ask Yazid, Abdell and Tarik for a show ;)).
Other than that the days are really busy, we spent every day at the beach and had 2 surf sessions a day, the second one being by ourselves with the coaches watching from the beach. We always went to find the best waves and if the waves weren't good enough (rarely happened), we had other options, such as Surfskate in Anza.
I personally learned a lot and progressed more than expected. The feedback was good and both, Abdell and Tarik were always there to explain more or give you a motivation boost when you asked them. I especially loved our sessions at Banana Point.
The Yoga was just amazing, Robyn is special and every session, morning energising vinyasa or evening calming flow were always exactly what we needed at that moment!

Mustapha was always there to help and answer questions in the house and the food was soooo good, always fresh and something new every day, especially the Tajine which we even had on the beach one day.

Thank you Yazid, for your genuine kindness, energy and feedback and thank you to the whole team, couldn't have had a better time. I'll be back <3

Amazing experience at the surf camp, I can't recommend it highly enough! Welcoming atmosphere and staff, thanks Mustapha for always being helpful, great facilities (especially the rooftop), and incredible food.

Special mention to Tarik whose guidance and invaluable tips and tricks helped me so much. A teacher that truly teaches and brings trust in the water, no doubt he's dedicated to our learning. Thank you Abdel too for the fun brought in the group and the advises even when I'm not in your surf group.

Salt house, where do I even begin? Thank you for honestly changing my life. You helped me find my happiness, confidence and spark again.
I booked a one week stay at Salt House in January just a day before I arrived, and Yazid made me feel so comfortable from the moment I started communicating with him about the booking, to the moment I arrived at Agadir Airport completely alone, but was immediately taken care of by a taxi that he organised for me to the surf house. I arrived in the middle of dinner time, but all of these strangers around the table went out of their way to dish me food, make me tea and really just made me feel so at home instantly. Yoga with Robyn was incredible, breakfast every morning was out of this world, and gave me a proper boost for the exciting, jam packed days we had planned. From surfing in the best conditions on some days, to other days where the surf coaches sincerely apologised, but didn’t feel safe to send us out into the bad conditions. Every coach had a heart of gold, and really only wanted the best for us. They went out of their way to find another activity for the day, whether it was going to Paradise Valley, a Souk, surf skating, acroyoga, etc etc. All things I dreamt of doing in Morocco, but wouldn’t have had enough time or money to do them myself. So thank you Salt House for spoiling us!
Overall, from the excellent surf coaching lessons, to the yummy lunches, to some great second sessions in the water, to the delicious smoothie stops at Babakoul, to the most relaxing sunset yoga sessions on the roof, to the mouthwatering Moroccan buffets every evening, and finally, to end off every night, the hours of chatting, laughing and bonding with people that became family - Thank you Salt House for the most special week. You are now a second home, and I will be back soon ❤

We had the best time at The Salt House!! Couldn't recommend this place enough - felt like an adult summer camp. We departed emotionally and physically refreshed & will definitely be coming back. Boyfriend and I stayed in a double room for 8 nights at the beginning of Feb with a Surf and Yoga package. Yazid made the booking experience & airport transfers seamless. He also helped to organize other activities for folks who wanted a day off from surfing (Agadir trip, 4x4s etc) helping to really make the experience your own.

The house is lovely with different spots to hang out. Nearby convenience stores and restaurants are accessible by only a short walk. The meals provided were delicious, plentiful, very veggie friendly and freshly made by the staff in-house. Daily activities are well planned & keep your days busy and eventful. We especially enjoyed the sunrise & sunset yoga, the instructor Robyn was stellar. Surf coaches were very knowledgeable, helpful & provided loads of hands-on and 1-on-1 instruction. You also get hours of surf practice time on top of the instruction. Or you can take it easy and enjoy the afternoon at the beach with never ending donuts and mint tea offered by local vendors :)

Really enjoyed staying at the Salto House! Learned a lot with salt house surf couches, everyone was very detailed oriented and focused on my progression. I am returning home a better surfer. Food and house staff were also Amazing.

My first visit was in October '23, and I came back two months later. In case that doesn't say enough... This place is incredible: good vibes, amazing food, and a real passion for surfing. Salthouse is run by locals, which makes the place such a treat. The (local!) surf coaches are awesome, know every inch of the beaches and are able to create a unique learning experience for each level of surfing.
Let's not forget the fantastic yoga sessions on the roof top with ocean view, which help you wind down and reach even higher levels of happiness!

My experience at Salt House was amazing! The team provided very personalized coaching based on skill level. I have been surfing for over 15 years prior to this trip and was still able to learn a lot in a short period of time from the guys. They also know the area inside and out, and drove to different breaks every day based on the current conditions. We had a few days of perfect conditions with no one else in the water! Everyone on the team was also very fun to hangout and joke around with - This made the sessions very enjoyable!

The food was also incredible! They provide three huge meals a day, and the vegetarian options were great. Meals were shared with all of the other guests. It was a great social environment to chat and get to know people.

The yoga was great as well! After surfing roughly 4 hours everyday, the morning and afternoon class were a great way to stretch out and decompress.

This had to be one of my favorite surf trips ever - The crew at Salt House works really hard to accommodate everyone and make the holiday one to remember! I will definitely be back at Salt House next time I’m in Morocco.

Salt House is a vibe! Feels like home, away from home <3. Taghazout is a small, cosy but beautiful village with endless beaches - so pretty!

The food at salt house is lovely (vegan) and made with so much love. The surf teachers (Mo Mo, Abdell & Redouane) are amazing: always in for a joke and eager to improve your skills. Last but not least, Yaz (the owner) is the kindest and takes good care of you. You’ll feel at home immediately.

Prepare yourself for evenings full of music, great food, the kindest people and the best views. You won’t regret it!

I recommend this place for everyone who wants to improve their surfing while having fun. The place felt like home from the first minute. Also the food was amazing!

There is no “normal surfcamp”, it is family, professionals, good people and surf lovers. Salt House Morocco is a choice you won't regret. Amazing staff, delicious food and incredible surfing experience. Everything you want when looking for a surf camp. The Hostel is close to local shops in Tamraght and local surf shops and restaurants. I'm excited to be there again!

I stayed just over 2 weeks at salt house and I had the most amazing time, The surf instructors are brilliant especially momo he taught me so much about longboarding and took us to the best spots around Morocco and we did some really cool activities when the surf was too big also the yoga was one of the highlights of my whole trip Robyn is such a talented teacher and I learnt so much ! Salt house felt like a family and I definitely will be coming back!

Had an amazing time at salthouse! The surfteacher are very passionate. They go on and beyond to get you up on that board. And I made an impressive progress. The food is incredible. Every night the table is full with different kinds of traditional moroccan dishes and I still can't decide what my favorite is.
I spend a week in december at salthouse with an AMAZING group. The afterglow was real. I wanted to come back but at the same time I was scared that the experience wasn't going to be the same. But I came back again for two weeks and it was great again! Perhaps my favorite part of the day is ending it at the rooftop with some guitar sessions, covered in a blanked, realizing how good the surf was and how greatful you are to spend time here.

SaltHouse is the perfect surfcamps with one of the best surf coachings I‘ve ever experienced! The place is always so clean thanks to the lovely cleaning ladies and the food from them is fulfilling, heartwarming and very tasty! I couldn‘t stop eating. They seperate the groups into different surf levels which I really loved and they have a nice selection of equipment too. Also the Yoga was sooo good and I enjoyed having the option to join both sessions every day if I wanted to. Also the surfskate was very fun. Really, I couldn‘t imagine a better place to improve your surfing and meet amazing people! My friends and I had an unforgettable time at salt house. It was the second time for me and it once again exceeded all expectations. I really like the easygoing vibe in the surf house and among the people.
Abdel, our surf teacher, gave us the best tips and tricks every day and sometimes the necessary pushes into the waves. 😉 He is such a happy person and we had a lot of fun in the water.
Clem, the yoga teacher, provided the welcome stretching before and relaxation after a long day of surfing. I loved to wake up and start the day with the beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. Afterwards, a delicious breakfast was served, prepared by the sweetest Fatima's. Also lunch at the beach and dinner are so so good. 😋
And last but not least, Yazid made us feel super welcome. He made sure everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything. Just enjoying our time in lovely Morocco to the fullest. I'll be back soon. 💛

What a lovely stay. From the first day until my departure, my expectations were more than met. The yoga and surf instructors are very professional and do their job with a lot of passion - they are having so much fun the guests, you wouldn’t even think they are working :)
The food in the house is out of this world. The kitchen staff prepare a daily changing menu with locally sourced products. All meals are balanced and vegans and vegetarians are not forgotten.
Lastly I would give my thanks and biggest recommendations to the host Yazid. He was always available for questions, engaged with ever guest and is a very lovely and heartwarming guy.
