Azul Guesthouse

I had a great time at the Azul House. The apartment where I stayed with two other friends was spacious, clean, bright and nicely decorated, equipped with a fridge, a kitchen, a living room, a big TV, the bedroom and a spacious bathroom. At the highest floor there is a dining room with a terrace and sofas, and another terrace on top where we did yoga face to the ocean (mats, yoga blocks and other equipment are available there). Very good meals, with a varied selection of food, for example different types of fruits, crêpes, jam, delicious fresh juices and omelets for breakfast; typical Moroccan specialities for dinner; vegetarian and vegan options available on request. Hucine and the staff were lovely, so welcoming, nice and kind, and we had a great time all together, chilling on the terrace after surfing all day. Great atmosphere, all we guests became friends thanks to the fact that we shared many common activities. The surf lessons were very well organised and punctual, with all the necessary equipment available in the house, transfers to the different spots and meals included. The surf coaches were great, I have always felt safe, received many good suggestions to improve, and had the impression that I was followed in the progression, helping me to transit to the next little step. Surf skates are available at the house and I had much fun trying them in the park close by (3 min. by foot). The guesthouse is not far from Tagazhout. A massage center is available in the vicinity.

Perfect guesthouse!!! Absolutely brilliant! Perfect place to stay and meet people, surf with professional, friendly and helpful instructors; yoga adapted to surfer needs. Everything is organized really well and all with a happy, relaxed positive energy. All the staff are amazing, friendly, kind and great fun! The food is really incredible - for vegetarians and vegan also so many options. I definitely recommend this place! I booked to go back again already!

OVERVIEW
By far the best guesthouse to go to in Morocco. If you want amazing service, food and the best surf spots and company, then I can’t recommend this place enough.

SURFING
I cannot express how perfect this guesthouse is for every level of surfer. We came as a group of 6 of all different levels and they were able to tailor each session perfectly for us as individuals. They would take us to the best surf spots each day. As a beginner, they recommended the best board for each session, would go through some theory on the beach (if needed) and would then come out with us and offer tips and guidance. More advance surfers were able to choose from a huge stock of boards and would then be guided to the best waves.
FOOD
One of the highlights of the trip for me. The food is included in the package so you don’t have to worry about a thing for the whole trip. Each day started with a fresh, healthy breakfast of fresh fruits, omelettes, pastries and more.
You are then provided with lunch and snacks whilst out at the surf spot and would then come back to an amazing cooked buffet of incredible Moroccan food.
Thursday’s food isn’t included which gives you a chance to have a look around the town. You can either explore yourself, or the guesthouse will book you into a delicious restaurant and will even sort the transport!
We were lucky enough to stay there for NYE, where they put on a huge party and bbq to celebrate! Unbelievable!
ACCOMMODATION
The guesthouse is beautifully decorated with a range of room options, from dorms for bigger or social groups to double and single rooms.
There’s a stunning social area upstairs with a number of games, and an unbeatable roof terrace with panoramic views of the area (this is where they do their yoga!)
BIRTHDAYS
I have to include this as this was a highlight for us. We went to this guesthouse to celebrate a 30th birthday and they didn’t disappoint. Everyone who works there got involved and decorated the communal area and surprised us with a massive birthday cake, poppers and candles! They sang and made us feel so so special.
STAFF
The funniest, kindest and most helpful staff we could have asked for. From the incredibly talented kitchen staff to the surf instructors, every single person made the experience special and unique for us.
It was a truly unforgettable week and we can’t wait to go back. I can’t recommend it enough and would encourage anyone to book it. Definitely the best accommodation in the area! Thank you for such a memorable holiday!

This was one of the best surf guesthouse I’ve been. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and funny. The owner Hucine even drove me to the hospital in Agadir and back without asking for anything.
We chose the surf guiding and had some really great surf sessions. The food was always amazing and the terrace is a super nice place to chill in the evening.

Special thanks to Hucine and Otman, they really made us feel at home.

Beautifull traditional guesthouse!
Super nice rooftop with view on the ocean & nearby breaks. There are a couple of good breaks on a walking distance. Anyhow, the surfcrew drives you along the coast everyday to select the best spot of the moment. Super-superfriendly staff in general who makes you feel at home from day 1. The kitchen crew serves you the best breakfasts and traditional dinners you'll ever have in Marocco. Truly worth a big 5+ star. Thumbs up & thank you guys!!

Week Azul Guesthouse = week enjoying good food combined with top surf lessons from fantastically warm people.
I was here for the 3rd time, so always come back with great pleasure!!! love this place!!!! highly recommended for anyone who wants to surf, from beginner to experienced. They look at your level and take you to the surf spots with the right waves.

Best place in Tamraght if you want to learn how to surf surrounded by amazing people who make you feel at home. I couldnt express how wonderfully you’re welcomed at Azul. Time just flies when you’re there and the overall service is impeccable.

We have been spoiled to the max during our stay at Azul.
The surfguides are the best, they were sincerely occupied with teaching us and taking care we got the best waves every day (two sessions)! I surf 15 years, and since I received their lessons and coaching in the water I finally started succeeding, and having fun with the waves!!
The food is so amazingly tasty and healthy, I was a bit worried I ate to much but I actually lost 3kg during my stay because we were so active!
I also did yoga at Azul, Vinyasa and Hatha style and the lessons had a very high standard, with a very skilled teacher.
This place is filled with such nice people, and we laughed so hard and made some new friends!
It was so wholesome for us to be taken care of by this amazing family, we had such a healthy sporty vacation... I think me and my husband fell in love and we will get back there whenever we can!

It was great staying at Azul Guesthouse - Hucine, Bohcine and the team are super nice and welcoming and put in a lot of effort for the guests to enjoy their stay, also in less busy times (e.g. during low season when I was there). The food is incredibly delicious too and varies over the days.
And last but not least, the team is genuinely interested to make sure people get to surf a lot, in the best possible conditions available in and around Tamraght and are genuinely striving for people to progress on their skills.

Yoga-surf-retreat @Azul: One of the best holidays ever!
The team at Azul Guesthouse welcomed us incredibly warm, pampered us, served us fantastic food and taught us to surf with great enthusiasm. An all in vacation with a home feeling. A great place for a chat, some joking, laughing or dreaming, or just hanging around. The rooftop is the perfect spot for the daily yoga sessions, seeing the sun come up. Everything is possible at Azul. Thank you for a fantastic holiday guys! You have a great place there!

The Azul Guesthouse is even more beautiful than on the pictures! The whole place is set up and decorated with a great sense of taste. It was very easy to feel good and relax in the familiar atmosphere. Everyday we had super delicious traditional Moroccan home cooked food. And surfing was a lot of fun with a highly motivated and enthusiastic surf instructor. What I did not like was leaving the place and the wonderful people after a week.

If you're looking for the perfect complete surfing or yoga trip don't look any further. Azul guesthouse provides the best stay ever. The guesthouse is really amazing with the most beautiful rooms, apartments and terraces. The guesthouse is traditionally Berber and the details in decoration in the woodworks are really something I've never seen before. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was really good!
I learned a lot about the Berber history which was very interesting.The skilled surf instructors have a lot of knowledge about the sea and surfspots and are very clear and patient when doing the surf classes.
After a nice day of beach, sun and surfing, having a sunset Yoga session on the beautiful terrace is really something else.

This lovely place is a guesthouse and a surfcamp owned by two great hosts (two brothers actually). I felt very good during the month I spent at Azul Guesthouse. The room was very comfy and well decorated. The team is super friendly and they provide great surf class. I definitely recommend this place for your stay in Tamgraht!

I arrived here on my own and all stressed out and not knowing what to expect or if I could even stand up on a board. In one week, I learned how to surf green waves, boosted my yoga with some acroyoga, made new friends from around the world, ate amazing food every single day, slept in a super comfy bed and generally had a brilliant, active but also chilled out time. Hucine and his team go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay and feel welcome, relaxed and happy. Definitely recommend and I'm definitely going back!

I would recommend staying at Azul Guesthouse should you be looking for an authentic Marroccan experience. Hucine and his brother welcome you in their Berbère style house fully carved by Hucine's brother. Let's not forget the delicious home cooked meals and the Marroccan tea that will refuel beyond satiety any guest coming back from a surf or yoga session. Also Hucine will make you discover exotic sceneries and places during excursions prefectly scheduled to replenish a sore body between surfing/yoga extravaganza.

During this difficult time that COVID impose us, it make it more difficult to find the correct information.

The Azul Family had always gave me an outstanding services and communication from the pre-booking to my whole stays.
Hucine and his time made a warm welcome and make my stays amazing, far from all the trouble that the world has.

Let's not forget the surf, the team adapt everything to your level and they always find the right spot for you. As well the food has been outstanding from the breakfast to the diner.
