Our review will be just echoing others review. We can see why this place has perfect 5 stars. They thoroughly explained the process of extracting Argan oil for cosmetics and cooking. They are all about quality and standards. Excellent customer service without any pressure of buying their products. They also served us some Moroccan tea and bread to try with Amlou and Argan oil. 😊

We had a great experience visiting this store. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and polite, no pushy sales.
We were offered traditional bread and tea with argan oil and amlou.
The owner presented his laboratory, showing how argan oil is produced.

I believe that the owner can be more successful, getting more customers to visit the shop if he relocates more centrally to Essauira city (not many tourists where the shop is located).

We found this shop on Google with good review and decided to visit. Although it was a bit far from tourist attractions, it was definitely worth it.

The owner treated us very well, offering us bread, argan oil, almond butter, and mint tea. We casually asked if they had peanut butter, without any intention of trying it, but the owner immediately handed us a plate of peanut butter. His hospitality surprised us and made us feel special.

All the products in this store are natural, and the prices are very reasonable and down-to-earth. Compared to those shops on the tourist streets that only display a grinder at the entrance and claim to sell authentic argan oil, this shop has an on-site factory where you can see the process. When we purchased almond butter, they even filled the jars for us right on the spot. The owner was also very thoughtful, carefully wrapping each jar of almond butter in bubble wrap and placing them in a zip bag, making it convenient for us to put them in our luggage. It was truly meticulous.

If you plan to buy argan oil products in Morocco, this shop is definitely an excellent choice.

I chose this place to buy Argan Oil on my holiday, if a business can maintain a 5 star rating then that must mean something. The customer service was great, any questions I had were answered in detail, the guy I spoke with was friendly and smiley and spoke good English. I felt I could trust what he said. They also sell raw honey, I brought some honey and some Argan Oil for my skin. I hope I can see improvements or benefits in the near future. I wish all the best to this shop.

Simply the best!! We bought 10 or so bottles to bring back home for gifts. This is 100% real Argan oil. They will show you how it’s made, and you can pick various scents. The cooking oil and products are lovely as well. This is a must stop if you are in the area. I would even drive out of the way to visit and bring stuff home.
The workers are so kind. We are very excited to use all we got!!

Went to Zidrop based on other Google reviews. Was not disappointed. It was lovely to meet Majid and learn about Argan oil process. We also tasted their Amlou and it was the best I've had on this trip. Fair prices for their oil and products. Highly recommend a visit

Amazing quality product. We found this shop and factory by accident while on holiday and bought some of their product. This was quickly used and so we ordered via email to get more delivered to the UK. Takes 2-3 weeks postage but arrived well wrapped and as promised. A fantastic store.

A wonderful little shop, just outside the Medina. Guided by the 5 star reviews that came before we were not disappointed. A really pleasant experience, and Smail treated us with great care and true hospitality. We went for the Argan Oil but came away with much more besides. Honey, soap, amlou, but above all a super experience learning a bit about how the oil is created. Also bread and oil/amlou with tea whilst we chatted. We took our friends the next day and met Smail’s business partner, who was equally gracious. Thanks, Smail. We will be back next time we are in town, and best of luck until then. À bientôt, Simon and Colette.

What a great place! We went in for oil and there was no pushy sales.

We were given a tour and shown how the argan oil is made then given bread with amlou and tea. Next we were asked if we have had the Moroccan cous cous to which we said no.

‘Come, you can have my lunch with me’. He had too much food and gave us some. Genuine people make countries and this is a great example! We also did get our oil that we originally came in for 🇲🇦❤

Best place to get argan oil in Essaouira!!! The owners are so kind and friendly, showing us how all the products are made and giving us a tour of the backroom for free. They also shared bread and tea with us, allowing us to try all the products in the store for free! The prices are phenomenal and the quality is very very high. If you’re looking for argan oil here, skip all the places for tourists and come here! It is the BEST!

The best Argan Oil store in Essaouira!!!. Great quality products, not only cosmetic and edible Argan oil, you cal also find soap, essential oil, parfum, tea… All of exceptional quality!. I had the opportunity to be welcomed by Majid, a very nice, interesting, hospitable and smart seller who explained me every step of oil production and its multiple properties and uses. I learned a lot about Argan history, Moroccan history, culture, traditions… He is an exceptional ambassador of Morocco! While you discuss about everything, you can taste a very good tea together with a delicious bread and Argan oil and amlou. Many thanks Majid! Good luck from Cuba!😊

Off the beaten path but definitely worth going to for the real argon oil products. He has everything from cooking oil to cosmetics and everything is made right there in his shop. He will even give you samples to taste and a demo of how the products are made. They have a website that you can order from also.

I found this place with complete coincidence while we look for bus station. We just wanted to have a quick look as we planned to buy argan oil but it turned out to be a great experience. We learned the process of argan oil extraction, we could try their products with fresh bread and mint tea. Owner is very friendly and he does not force you to buy anything. You feel real passion of a seller that he presents his products not only to sell but he is proud of it. They helped me to exchange my money by taking me to exchange office, they even showed me how I can go to Agadir by asking the price to taxi station. Real Moroccan people with great hospitality. Now I am home eating bread with only olive oil I bought from them and it is amazing, one day, we will come back. Thank you guys.
