Lovely, relaxing hotel with 10 acres of grounds featuring a working farm. Big rooms, clean, nice staff. Bar and swimming pool. We ate 3 evenings in the restaurant all were good. Primary language here is french but you can get by with English. Pro tip: go walking in the surrounding village. People are friendly and it's beautiful. Only downside is the location is a bit remote and the road to get there is rough.

We had the most wonderful getaway 7 day stay EVER on this 4 hectare healthy and luscious ecofarm managed by a united and caring, polite, and gracious team headed by Kader. Also we were so fortunate to connect with Catherine and Philippe, an amazing and visionary couple, founders of Sawadi. Thanks to them we will never forget our stay!

We had a great time at Sawadi! Our children were very happy with the fantastic pool, as well as the little playground, table tennis, basketball and badminton. The staff were kind and welcoming, the food was great and breakfast was plentiful (sugary eggy bread particularly loved by the kids!). Our room was excellent, with a beautiful bathroom and spacious roof terrace with wonderful views to the mountains. Wonderful location deep in the palmerie, you can walk all around here and see how the local people live. Sawadi can provide a guide. We also visited the Monday souk and the kasbah in Skoura. A great place for a few days’ relaxing!

Sawadi Eco lodge was by far the best place we have said at in Morocco. Breakfasts included fruit and yoghurt, uncommon elsewhere. The rooms are artistically decorated and ample in size and facilities. There is lovely large swimming pool in the large beautiful paradise gardens with wild birds, and guided walks through villages and nearby Kasbahs. What struck me most is the happy staff members. We had fun there :-)

Beautiful resort in a relatively remote location, lovely Moroccan architecture and magnificent views in the in the morning and evenings. Staff is very hospitable and it's a good place to go on a camel safari from. Looks better in real life than the photos!

We spent 2 perfect nights at sawadi, the lodge is beautiful and comfortable, and also sustaining a farming project and small flower distillery. The food is homemade, fresh from the garden.
The Soukra village is one of the most charming places that we visited in Morocco, we will come again to enjoy the peacefulness of this place!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Sawadi Ecolodge. The food was excellent-some of the best we had during our 12 days in Morocco. The staff were very friendly-I specifically want to give a shout out to Said who I had great conversations with and who was very funny. The grounds were really nice and there were lots of activities available like ping pong and Bocce ball (my girlfriend and I had a great time playing badminton). I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in/near the Oasis!

This was one of our Highlights during our journey through Morocco.
Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed the time in this beautiful Lodge. The houses are surrounded by a beautiful garden, a paradise. The employees where really nice and accomodating. Breakfast and Dinner was delicious and rich. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we could see, that everyone, espacially the children, had good time at this Paradise.

Thanks for a wonderful stay - a beautiful place, with fabulous fresh food. We really enjoyed the pool and the games (ping pong, badminton, scrabble etc). The shower wasn't the best but the bed linens were luxurious and it was lovely having a fire in the bedroom. Said was a fabulous host and looked after us very well - thanks so much!

A great Hotel in the middle of this palm grove.
As we were making a stopover on our way to Marrakech, our expectations were not significant. Once we arrived, we found ourselves in paradise. There is a large inviting pool and a wonderful terrace above our room all to ourselves—an enchanting garden. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was also plentiful. After dinner, we booked the hammam and a massage. This experience made it high on our list of adventures. The room was clean and beautiful, and the Maitresse de Maison friendly and accommodating. Our expectations were fully met.
We had a wonderful stay, thank you very much!

Sawadi is an idyllic place to unwind, especially after exploring the hectic medina life of Marrakech. Situated in an oasis in Skoura, Sawadi is rich in greenery and hospitality. Kader and the rest of the crew go out of their way to ensure a comfortable and welcoming visit. Ryka's breakfasts are a treat and Said's infectious giggle and top-notch service will have you immediately smiling. Kader gave me a nice tour of the grounds and we picked the tastiest apricots from the small orchard. The rooms are beautiful and the common area features an amazing table and chair set that could easily be in the set of a rock and roll video. This place is beyond beautiful and I recommend staying a few nights to soak in the tranquil setting and explore nearby sights like Kasbah Amridil. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, Sawadi.

P.S. I didn't realize Sawadi offered filtered water to guests until reading a response from the owner to another reviewer about the subject. This is fantastic as I saw so much plastic rubbish from tourists on my trip. I wish more guest houses would invest in this. My small filter canteen was impractical and I wish I had invested in a steri-pen as I contributed to several plastic bottles going to the dump. Thanks for looking out!

I stayed here on a tour with Intrepid Travel and loved it. You can rest here, eat well, swim, walk through the oasis, or simply do absolutely nothing. I could easily spend a week here!

Wonderful little place tucked away in a labyrinth of narrow streets and olive groves. Feels more like a back-to-nature retreat center than a hotel, while retaining as much modern convenience as you can expect in Morocco.

We ended up here somewhat unexpectedly when my mother suffered a bad injury on our trip and had to be off her feet for a few days. The charming staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent, all organic local fare, with plenty of fruits and vegetables grown onsite, homemade jams and so on, served in a cozy and casual dining room. There is also alcohol available to purchase if you need it (not common in Morocco. And, as elsewhere in the country, drinking water is charged by the bottle).

The buildings are modest but very beautiful, the plumbing is quite functional (not always the case in Moroccan hotels!), and our room had multiple electric outlets (also not a given!) and a heating/air conditioning unit. The bathroom, while small, was stocked with little luxuries like local rose water and artisan soaps. No bathtub, but a pleasant shower at a reliable temperature.

It was a peaceful place where we felt safe and didn't have any unexpected problems. They even take credit cards! (Another relative rarity). Most of all, it was the kindness of the people there that made our stay so relaxing (Merci à tous! Vous êtiez très gentilles). I wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming little garden in the middle of the Skoura palm grove. The staff is friendly and the food amazing. Smart starting point for a road trip in the desert (Merzoga other M'Hamid). You can easily organise your journey with the landlords. They know the region very well and provides good tips for itineraries in the Draa valley.
