L'Ma Lodge

Our family had an amazing experience, we had only stayed two nights but wish we would have stayed more. This is the perfect stopping point in between Marakesh and desert, plan to eat all your meals here and use their driver connections. The food and service was amazing. We were traveling with children and this place was perfect for them. We also went for a tour with a Adbula a local guide who showed us the community. Sofaen -the manager was so warm and welcoming. Top notch experience.

What a great oasis to both relax and explore the area. Excellent food and a absolutely gorgeous garden made this a place hard to leave. The super friendly staff helps you feel at home and really cares to make your stay enjoyable. Fully recommended!

Amazing place to stay in the middle of an oasis. Comfortable rooms with a fan and air conditioning. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Beautiful pool. Only regret is not having more time to enjoy it all! Don’t think twice about booking this place.

So beautiful and peaceful. Hospitality was awesome. Vanessa makes a point to welcome all her guests. Trip was planned for us so we only got one night. I just wish we could stay longer. Gardens, animals, peace good food...what else could you want. Just a wonderful oasis.

This is a stunning small hotel with beautiful gardens and 7 rooms in the heart of the Skoura palmerie. Run by a Belgium woman and her French husband and with friendly local staff. Meals are excellent. Trips with local guides are worth doing. And they can organize trips further afield (they booked a desert camp overnight for is).

I visited with my 11 year old son who thought it flawless and especially loved the semi-hidden retreat areas with rugs and cushions in the garden and on the roof. The animals in a corner of the garden and the pool are also great for families.

We particularly enjoyed the guided cycle ride though the palmarie, stopping off at a tiny pottery for some hands-on clay throwing (small tip expected)

Had a wonderful stay at L'ma Lodge, and can only recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in nature. The owner Vanessa and the staff are extremely welcoming, warm-hearted and kind. The couscous we had for dinner was one of the best ones I've ever had - real delicious home cooking. And the view from the lodge's rooftop, overlooking the 5000 trees Vanessa and her husband have planted and taken care of for 17 years, is breathtaking. Thank you for the lovely stay to the whole team ❤

This place is the best hidden secret in Morocco. If you are looking for oasis to relax , have an amazing food, most accommodating staff, genuinely happy welcoming people, you have to come to L’ma Lodge. We had our best 2 days here and sad to be leaving. We will be back!

Vanessa & Xavier have created an unbelievable place to relax in the middle of nowhere in SKOURA! I, along with my family, spent a night there & felt that it was too short a stay! The hospitality shown by them & their staff was impeccable! The property is absolutely stunning & the decor, including the landscape is something to admire! Apart from creating & maintaining this place, they also rescue non-human lives and take care of their well-being! We would definitely go back there, hopefully in the near future & spend some more time! FIVE STARS ARE AN UNDERSTATEMENT! I wish I could rate them higher!

Beautiful Lodge in the middle of the oasis skoura. Nice unique rooms, phenomenal garden and friendly service that served us very good food.

Our first stay during our trip through Morocco was at L'Ma Lodge. We drove there from Marrakech airport, a trip that took approximately 5 hours. It was a beautiful trip through the mountains.
When we arrived at the Lodge the owner immediately welcomed us. She has a very warm personality. The rooms are amazing, every detail has been taken care of. Great bathroom, furniture, accessories. The swimming pool is also great (a little cold for us!)
At night the kitchen staff cooked us a delicious vegetarian meal: it was so good we took some left overs with us so we could eat it for lunch in our car the next day.
It was a pity we only stayed at the Lodge for one night, we could have stayed for a week and enjoy their fresh dates, pomegranates and almonds a lot more!

We only had 1 night here, and that was a mistake! It is gorgeous. The grounds are spectacular, accommodation is well designed, and comfortable. The combination of traditional Moroccan crafts and European flair is spot on. We had dinner which was very very good. The chef knows exactly what he is doing. Staff were wonderful. We would not hesitate to return. Looking forward to it!

L'Ma is an oasis within the oasis. The place is magic. Rooms are tastefully decorated in a gorgeous garden. There is an attention to every detail to make your stay a great experience. Highly recommended!

L’Ma’s owner, Vanessa, is a lovely/amazing host and we are so grateful that we got a chance to spend a couple of days at a beautiful property in Skoura. Strong reco - if you have the time - to slow down, get off the beaten track and explore the palm grove/oasis. Thank you, Soufiane, and team for your recos, setting us up with biking and overall terrific hospitality. Tip - be sure to read Vanessa’s instructions on getting there (it’s not where google thinks it is!

This place was so incredible. My husband and I stayed here in October of 2018. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Morocco. The pictures don’t even do it justice - it was fabulous. Beautiful, clean, great food, lovely hosts, really felt like we were on vacation when we were there! Thank you for the amazing experience. Wish we had stayed longer.

Wonderful place, beautiful oasis garden, very good food, spacious comfortable room, our first proper shower in Morocco. My son was sick with stomach flu so we hung around the garden for a day and it was such a peaceful place to rest. The staff was super attentive and the owner Vanessa is charming and really made us feel at home.

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful grounds, really wonderful throughout. The guest rooms have actual radiators (seemingly a rarity), and the main building with its dining area and lounges is also super nice. Staff were welcoming and helpful, making for a great stay.

An oasis inside the oasis! Perfect stop for 1 night (or 2 or more!) travelling from Merzouga desert to Marrakech. Top service and accomodation with good swimming pool for hot days or a cozy fireplace for cold nights!

Amazing, a true oasis. A spectacular tranquil garden amidst the desert hosted by some of the friendly people you will find anywhere. We wish we could stay longer than one night, not to do anything in particular, but simply to be in this paradise. The pool is heated and the bocce court is always ready, but one could occupy oneself for days exploring the little nooks and seating areas hidden around the grounds.

It's worth going hours out of your way to come here. If you can stay two nights, so much the better, and try to make it three.
