LE JARDIN DES GRENADIERS Restaurant et Maison de vacances dans la palmeraie de Skoura

We had a delicious lunch, served in a beautiful home garden setting. My friend arrived ill and Abdul and his wife could not have been more helpful and hospitable. Didn't stay overnight, but the food was fresh and wonderful.

We stopped over here for lunch on the way to todra gorge. It was well worth it. One of the highlights of our trip so far. A very peaceful place to while away a few hours. Would recommend it if you want a break from a roadside eatery and the hustle and bustle. Google provided an accurate route through and our dacia sandero had no problem getting there. Had to hang around for 5-10 minutes for someone to arrive so just be patient if there is no one there.

We didn’t stay there, so I can’t rate the rooms, but we ate dinner at the restaurant, which is their home — Abdo and his wife were so welcoming and the meal was delicious. We accepted Abdo’s offer to grill the chicken skewers in front of us, and he told us all about his home, which he built, and his belief in giving back to the community, including the women’s co-op that made the cheese that was in the delicious salad we started with. When we finished, he told us to pay whatever we wanted, and sent us home with baggies of spices used Moroccan cooking! Such a big heart and sweet family. It was bit hard to get to in a car at night, but he kindly had us follow him out on his moped using a different (still dirt road) but at least not driving between two walls ;)

Best place to go to have a true quiet Moroccan experience.

Abdou is the nicest of host, always smiling, positive and doing everything to please his guests.

The garden is beautiful, you only hear the sounds of birds and wind. We stayed for one night.

The food is amazing, only with local vegetables and meat for dinner and breakfast. The homemade bread is delicious!

Small garden with a lot of plants. Charming owner, likes to show you around. The food was great marrocan food, cooked by his wife. Can’t say anything about the rooms because we only came for lunch. Time is running a bit slower in this small paradise.

We passed by accident at this place while driving through the stunning oasis. The Host Abdou is lovely, he and his wife prepared a delicious lunch with salad, tajine and tea and coffee. We spend a great afternoon in his beautiful garden. The host is very welcoming, friendly and respectful. We also had a look at his two rooms (with 3 beds each), they are very cozy and perfect for a short stay to have some rest. We would go there again if we are in the area.

We were visiting the Palmeraie de skoura and decided to stop to eat here.
So far the best experience in Morocco. The home and friendly atmosphere and the kindness of Abdou and famille made us feel relaxed and comfortable sitting in the garden. The food was excellent, we eat a Tajine with chicken , a wonderful salad and chicken kebab grilled in front of us. We highly reccomend this stop for who wants to have a true Maroccan-Berber experience.

We had a wonderful meal at this place! The salat and the tajine were so great and the garden is such a lovely place to be. Abdou also has two rooms available but we had our Defender to sleep in. The roads there are narrow but we made it in our Defender, so any car can do. There is parking.

This place is such a gem! If you’re passing nearby, make sure to visit for an authentic experience. The family will welcome you in the garden of their home, and the tasty food is just an added bonus. We had salad, tajine and Berber omelette. Everything was fresh and well prepared. It is important to note that you can also stay and sleepover in the place. Thank you! 🍋🍊

We drove through Skoura and wanted to stop for lunch. We found this place on Google maps and called Abdou to ask if he was around. We had lunch in his lovely garden and Abdou showed us around the palmerie afterwards, communicating in French and a bit of English. Recommended!

Beautiful and peaceful garden. Tasty food and amazing hospitality of Abdu and his family. We really enjoyed a cheese salad with fresh, goat cheese produced in the local women’s cooperative (you can find it in Skoura).

Abdou was an amazing host! The food was home grown in the family garden and we had the most tender beef and flavorful vegetables. He's so kind and charismatic teaching us some words in Arabic and French while also exchanging English words. He led to his home and taught us his garden secrets and at the end of the night he escorted us back to the main road to make sure we were not lost. It's really better than a restaurant experience. Next time we would love to bring our children there to stay and be enriched by Moroccan culture! Thank you Abdou, we are in awe by your kindness.

We found this wonderful place accidentaly on Google. It was little bit hard to find but easily accesible with Google help. Abdou was such a wonderful host. He prepared traditional Berber dish (tagine) and salad with THE BEST TEA we had in Morocco. The chilling surrunding of the grenadine garden was also great. If you want to calm your mind and relax, this is perfect place for you.

Abdou found as at the bus station when we were trying to find a place to stay. He has two guest rooms next to a beautiful garden with a lot of fresh fruits an vegetables - an amazing place to relax. Abdou is very welcoming and has a lovely family who showed us around and served delicious food.

Quiet , clean , authentic, relaxing place. Owner is a fantastic person. Far from crowd and traffic. As birdwatcher I find in the axgarden around the house in few minutes plenty of bird species.

Wonderful hospitality. Delicious food. Very good person and managing. This is le jardin des grenadiers. With Ms.Jabran we have spent a beautiful day in skoura oasis. I hope to come back next time.
