Great market clean worth going

End of May, beginning of June, the local fruits are a must-try. It’s a market always worth returning to for local produce in general.

Regular Latvian mark... Hell no its outstanding!! Even in Riga famous market you can't find such a variety of local produce. You pay what you get- some prices seems high, but it oozes quality if you know its a real thing.

Offering depends on the time of year (locals offering their harvest). Great prices compared to Riga central market. Can pay by card in most stalls indoor. Famous local coffee, bread produced only in regional bakeries and fresh dumplings sold inside as well.

Fresh vegetables and fruit, grown locally.

Farmers market with fresh all types of produce (meet, fish, veggies, fruits, mashrooms, milk products, freshly baked bread and other things) and flowers. Clothes too.
Love it.

Ok for fresh stuff if you want to cook

A visit to Liepaja is not complete without seeing the market. Free parking at one location. Fresh field and forest produce during the right season.

Great place to expirience the real market. Would sugest to see fish cellar in the old market building it is unique you won't see anything like that anywhere else.
