Friendly reception with English. Card payment ok. Great big space with rolling lawns. Good amenities. Washing machines, even a 12 kg machine! Washing 5 Euros per machine. Drying lines.

Kayaking, canoeing.

Two separate toilet buildings, the one nearest the reception has kitchen facilities.
Great area for kids and pets. BBQ possibilities all around with tables and benches.

Road works in June 2023 but one can exit another way towards Riga.

Recommend :) big campsite providing all the amenities needed and plenty of entertainment options for adults and children. Hosts are friendly and welcoming!

Amazing place by the lake with nice spots for tent with their own grill…clean bathrooms, kitchen with fridges and ceramic hob, you can rent bikes, paddleboards, boats…and there is also restaurant with local meals…plus they sell beers from the nearby brewery 👍👍👍

Probably one of best places in Latvia for camping and caravans 🚐. Large amount of options where to stay - only with tent, caravan or guest house. In addition there are very nice facilities to prepare food, take shower, wash laundry etc. Many other services available... renting boat or sup boards, bicycles etc. Kids will love this place as they have large play ground for them.

Great place to stay with a family. Beautiful place for setting up a tent. Clean toilet and shower. Will probably make an effort to go back there for some more time.

Very nice camping. Clean showers/toilets, spacious places for camper with your own fireplace(woodshed can be accessed) locally brewn beer for sale, sup/kanu for rent, washing&drying. The owner is very friendly. The bikeroutes are mainly over gravel roads which we didn't like, but biking to Cesis was very nice. The lake is perfect for a swim. We loved the place and recommend it

Very nice place to chill by the nature, even greater in warm summer days. Bathroom and kitchen is very clean all the time, camping houses are clean also. There is even wood available and everything you would need for barbecue.

Beautiful and really well equipped campsite. The staff is friendly and helpful.

You can buy cold local beer from the reception and some coal for the grill as well. Boats can be rented for a low price.

Also worth mentioning that they accept not only cash, but cards as well.

An extraordinary camping site with very high standards. It was also the most expensive one, but it's worth its money!
The sites are very big, often have a very nice wooden terrasse with own chair and table. We had one with a beautiful view on the lake.
It offers many activities - we did a Kayak Tour on Gauja River, which was beautiful.
The owners are very relaxed and easy-going.

Great campground with very friendly owners. Well maintained and with a nice view on a lake. Additionally it was the only place we could find, that had good information on canoeing on Gauja river. They even made a map themselves. We had a perfect two day trip on the river thanks to their advice.

Neat camping place. We stayed for 3 nights with a tent. There a lots of picnic tables, bonfires and grills for you. Free endless wood for your bonfire. Toilets and showers with hot water. No music allowed so it's really great spot to relax. You can find lots of free information about sightseeing in Gauja park near the reception. The owner at the reception spike English and there were no problems

It was very nice and clean camping experience. We stayed with camper van.

Only downside was price which is quite expensive - 35€ for the camper and 3 people.

The best camping experience ever. It has a little bit of of everything for everyone who loves nature, fishing and quietness. A huge variety of activities for children. I would highly recommend this place.

In four weeks cycling Latvia and Lithuania this was the best camping we had. Showers like in a hotel, clean and comfortable. Staff speaks English and German, and the playground is attractive even for teenagers:-) we liked the canoe trip on the Gauja river which we could easily organize at the reception - they were very flexible according to our wishes. They do also a "taxi service" for camping neighbors with own kajaks.

Best place to stay for relax.

One of the best places for one day rest&picnic or with an overnight stay. Great for kids. European level of service, hospitable hosts. Sincerely recommend.

I think that this is the most beautiful camp in Latvia. And everything is for one price (place, persons, wifi, electricity...). toilets and showers it's 4 stars. Once I'll be back!
