Best white water rafting in spring. Only happens in 1 or 2 weekends when snow melts. Rest of the year water level is not enought to do rafting.

Beautiful trail for sightseeing and hikes along the marked trail of river Amata.
During the walk enjoy untouched nature, sandstone cliffs, peace and quiet, forests. There are several free spots for camping with bonfires so several day hikes are good here too.
Trail is easy to navigate, but be ready to climb some stairs up and down.

Really really beautiful trail, acessible during November, was not that muddy.

Asome nature as well in whole "Gaujas Nacionālais parks". Amata river is also a fastest river in baltic states

Beautiful place for hiking.

The trail is temporary closed. First part of it is beautiful but then large section is destroyed by forest cutting. It is still passable.

Beautiful nature trail. Possible trails for differently skilled hikers. All along the trail you can see red cliffs, the river is flowing down in an alley, there are caves all around. Definitely worth a visit. Near Zvartes iezis is parking amd small coffee and info shop, only open in weekends til 6

Most awesome trail i find so far in Latvia. From bridge start of trail is not market at all but its have most awesome sightseeing on all trail. near middle when you get out of wood i suggest you to turn back if you are with car. Father away there is much less to see, much worst quality of trail. Worst thing is lack of information. I find out its go all the way along the river at least from bridge to bridge only when i like come on trail in 3 different places. sometime its really easy to lost it especially in not so popular places. From bridge to bridge is about 35-40 km
