A beautiful station. I went there to collect a parcel. The station master was very helpful and I was able to collect my parcel very soon. I would like to thank him for his service. The location was peaceful and calm. I went there around 8:00AM. The environment was also appealing.

Diyathalawa is another panoramic railway station in the upcountry railway line. It is situated few kilometers away from the Diyathalawa town, hence in a very tranquil environment. The cliff with pine trees creates a picturesque sight with the mist. The station is equipped with basic facilities.

Diyatalawa is a best area to visit by a local tuorists and foriegners as well. We enjoyed a lot. A lot of military establishments are gives enormous vibes views and experiences.

It is situated at an altitude of 1,281 m (4,203 ft) and has become a popular destination for local holiday makers. It is home to the Diyatalawa Garrison of the Sri Lanka Army, which includes the Sri Lanka Military Academy, officer training centre of the army; SLAF Diyatalawa, the Sri Lanka Air Force's ground combat training centre; and facilities of the Sri Lanka Police.

Diyatalawa is a wonderful place rich in scenic beauty situated in the hill country of Sri Lanka. If you travel by train, you'll experience the beauty of this paradise island.

My home town

Pretty, Quiet and Comfortable and Tiny Railway station. Beautiful surroundings and Cold climes. Bit away from the main road but a minute walk to Colombo Badulla main bus route

This is the 70th railway station on the mainline 253.079 km away from the Colombo Fort. Altitude is 1331.40 meters above the mean Sea level and breath taking scenery and environment can be experienced. The cold and misty environment gives you a completely different experience from where you were a few hours before. The railway station is well maintained and cleaned. Near by stations are Haputale and Bandarawela.

I was travel here many times all were very amazing trips. Can reach here by bus or train both from Colombo and very cold weather around there. So many hotels, restaurants, Bars and all things can collect there.
