Lilara Hotel

We started off our family trip up to the Sri Lankan hillsides by train, getting off at Diyatalawa station. The hotel was amazing with their communications and organised our transportation from the station. On arrival, we were greeted by a calm and tranquil environment, complimented by friendly staff. During our stay, we enjoyed the amazing views, comfortable and clean family room and delicious authentic food. The hotel was generous in again organising our transportation to 9 arches bridge and thereafter, aided in the logistics of our next destination - KK beach hotel, Galle.

Myself with 9 others had a very comfortable stay. Quiet place with all facilities and tasty meals. A good place to relax.

Our stay was so great. This place offers utmost privacy and peace. Rooms have beautiful balcony. Rooms are so clean. I'm not highly satisfied with the food because there were limited items in their menu. But the food they offered was delicious.

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care I received at Lilara Hills Hotel, Diyathalawa. I went with my husband on our first vacation after Corona period and I wanted it to be perfect. Your staff is outstanding and my special gratitude goes to Mr Jayantha. He is not an ordinary hotel staff employee. He is good in hospitality and knowledge sharing. Thank you so much for your great service. Definitely we will come again. 🤩

Really calm and beautiful place for stay with family and friends.

Came back after 6 years!! Wow!! Just so unreal. If you ever need your vacation to be calm and relaxing with some amazing local food! Don’t miss this one!! Love the experience and waiting for next time. A huge thanks to the staff, just made a vacation so much more comforting!!

Best place I have ever been for the price. Rooms are so luxury which close to 5 star apart from amenities. Staff is very friendly and flexible. Cleanliness is near perfection. Food is delicious. Service is so personalized. A Beautiful memory thank you team Lilara.

We had to check in to Lilara for 1 night due to an emergency, and from the moment we stepped in to Lilara, Weerasinghe was so attentive and caterered to our needs. So grateful to him for making our stay comfortable. He is also an excellent cook, and made us delicious home-cooked meals.

Had a comfortable stay...the family room was large, clean and comfortable, Jayantha and his team were courteous and accommodative .. suggest that a backup power generator be installed and have a Ala Carte Menu at the restaurant.

Wonderful place. Spacious and very clean rooms and bathrooms. Amazing view from the balcony. Superb architecture of the building. Friendly staff and great service. Nothing more can be expected for the price you pay. Everything about this place is first class.

We went there again.Beautiful and spacious hotel in diyathalawa that has a very well maintained large rooms and a lovely environment. friendly staff with excellent service.we had a special BBQ night. Also we can have a auredic oil treatments and oil bath .I highly recommend it for a lovely family vacation.

This was definitely a 10/10 experience!
The location offers a sense of tranquility that provides a lovely contrast to the hustle and bustle of city life.
The owner Mr Abeykoon and his employees Mr Jayantha and Mr Weerasinghe (chef) went out of their way to make our weekend a comfortable and relaxing one. The friendly and outgoing nature of Mr Jayantha especially, helped my family and I feel incredibly welcomed and at ease at this "home away from home."
Lilara also offers Ayurvedic treatments, which we made use of during our stay.
Definitely counting down the days till we revisit them again. 😊👍

Very wonderful and calm place. Its too close to diyathalawa town. Mr jayantha and chef was warmly welcomed us and they were very friendly. The foods were very delicious and tastefull. Perfect job. We are very satisfied for there great service. We are highly recommend it👌
