We only stayed 3 nights and loved every minute of it! A beautiful and extremely well curated retreat in the jungle, little quirky, a very special place. The staff is wonderful, the purest and most kind people. The food is also great. Special thanks to PUBUDU, VIMUKTY and DAMICA the best masseuse.
We will be back 🙏

Since the first days of my stay in the samadhi Resort , I felt psychological comfort, and I found
from all the workers great concern for the comfort and service of the guests with all sincerity
and dedication, both in the distinguished treatment services that depend on natural medicinal
herbs , and the positive effect of that was starting It was visible to me personally and the
doctors were highly experienced and well-behaved with a permanent smile, and the same
applies to the therapists who are highly professional.
There is no doubt that food is of great importance with the various treatment programms. All
healthy vegetarian meals vary every day through an open buffet.
The presence of a doctor always in the restaurant during the three meal periods for
consultation and advice caught my attention.
The general environment of the resort is very beautiful, as if you are in the middle of a forest,
and you can enjoy walking on the wonderful area. I advise those who want to combine
relaxation and treatment to go to this place, and I planned to return.I will recommend it to
relatives and friends when I return to my country.

I did the day program at the Samadhi Center, and was beyond impressed. Vimukthi is such a professional and kind young man. I thoroughly enjoyed my treatment with Priyani, and meeting the doctor. The food was fantastic as well. I'd love to come back and stay for a week.

This place was ahhhhmazing! Ayurvedic treatments are incredible and I would say a must-do while here! The staff are super professional, nothing is too much trouble. Bring your appetite as they serve really delicious meals using produce from their farm. The grounds are stunning and the rooms with their antique furniture are divine. I will be back!

Amazing Destination!

Went to this fantastic establishment (again!) and loved every minute of it.

While the last time it was trekking and exploring, this time around it was THE WATER!
Spent the entire day in the beautiful stream just relaxing with family and friends.
The food and the facilities are fantastic.
Mr. Saliya, Mr. Moses and Mr. Bandara are excellent staff members and took the very best care of us.
A must-visit destination on your travels.
Will be going there soon. Again. Definitely.

The greatest place to stay around Kandy. The food was simply amazing (the best we’ve had in the whole country), the rooms are spread around the forest and decorated with antiques which makes this place really special. Needless to say the massages and oil treatments were amazing too. You can go for the full retreat or just try one. In the evening you get diner in candle light. There is also a cute terrasse where you can swim in the river and a roof top to relax and admire the view on the mountains. The staff arranged a trekking in the knuckles for us with a great guide. Can’t recommend more.

We are an American family living in Kandy for six months and have been back to the Kandy Samadhi Centre three times to enjoy lunch and swimming with guests and friends. It is an amazing location. Perfect for enjoying nature and swimming with children. While we never spent the night, the rooms look incredible. This is the most tranquil setting we have found in the country and one destination we will miss the most once we leave.

Will never forget my stay at Samadhi. It's calm, serene, sprawling with nature at its best along with the best massage I have ever had!!!

Not to forget the food; such an experience and adventure for the senses. The kitchen at Samadhi cooks some remarkable traditional Sri Lankan meals.

The individual bungalows give you all the privacy you can crave for along with a sense of security. You can walk, meditate, do yoga, read, cook, paint, jog, birdwatch, trek, spa or simply sleep and chill in this relaxed environment where time seems to take its time.

My favourite spot in Sri Lanka. A beautiful nature centre fully surrounded by the peace of the forest. A lake and stream where you can bathe, rooftop pavilion (with WiFi) to relax and a handful of individually designed rooms which are spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed with antique furnishings. Bathtubs in most rooms. Healthy, nourishing and authentic food. Will return soon!

Magical retreat center where you can have the real and true experience of bliss peace of mind and contentment. The ayurvedic treatments are just wonderful and the therapists are very genuine they give from the bottom of their hearts. The rooms are enchanting and each room puts you in a different historical era with all the details and all the decorations that simply gives an authentic touch. The jungle is very beautiful and the river sound works as your natural lulibuy that puts you in deep peaceful sleep. The food is organic healthy and tasty all meals are served according to the organic ayurvedic Sri Lankan traditions. It's a must visit and must see.

Rustic, artistic, authentic – a paradise for those looking for a boho-chic hideaway to read, meditate, yoga and eat some of the most delicious food on the island. Avoid if you're looking for room service, perfectly tucked sheets and a front desk staffed by hotel- school-educated automatons. Stay if you want to awake to the sound of monkeys playing on your roof, spend the day relaxing in the middle of a brook, and don't mind a torch-lit uphill hike to your room. Splurge on the honeymoon suite and an Ayurveda treatment.

Really I love this place.. every one must visit here, because This Samadi centre is setup by antique items and the villa also made by real antique item. Mostly They made the villas and the restaurant by more than 100 years old wooden doors windows and the dressing table ect.....
Mostly they have the antique brass items those look very beautiful and there is some items I have never seen.. The place also very cool and silent... food also superb. Can book by online.

This is as close to heaven as it gets my friends. Very strong vibration from madre tiera here. Strong, still and alive. If I lived nearby I would visit every weekend. Time completely detached and committed to reconnecting to nature is no longer a luxury but a necessity these days.
It's a great place to go to renew all the qualities in life that matter most. Which are often those we neglect the most. It is a living meditation. Perfect for inward reflections (and also plenty of organised physical activity options as well as doctor supervised, tailored ayurveda plans).
If you are similar to me and prefer trees to people, go here. If you are not like me at all, and haven't spent time looking at trees in years or maybe your life, you need to visit Samadhi most. You can stay connected via wi fi and will probably end up loving it the most. I would deem Samadhi deeply nourishing. I think it gives each guest exactly what they need.
The pure harmony of the dwellings with the environment and the imagination and simplicity and understated artfulness of each unique room demonstrated to me, nothing short of pure devotion of the creator, a prayer. Honestly mind blowing pieces of art and a rare gift, enhanced further by the music of the river as a backdrop heard from everywhere and running through the sanctuary.
I visited only a few days but left with profound clarities and for me, well I received a much needed remembering that devotion is my favourite word and simply what I want most.
If I could create anything in my dreams, it would be precisely this.
Thank you Waruna.

A very safe place to be. Beautiful antique architecture, extremely friendly environment and good ayurvedic treatments. One of the rarest places that are built with a greater purpose than earning money.

It's not for everyone because it is close to nature and as a result there are a few ants, spiders etc. But it is one of the most magical places you could stay with beautiful views, a magical soundtrack of running water, crickets and bird song, and some of the finest rooms I have ever seen
