Today is a poya day and it is public holiday. I went to mini operation theatre to small wound surgery. The surgeon is very kind and staff was very friendly. They treat to patients very well. They do their job from their best. This is a time to Thanks a lot and merit to treat them.

My experience at Karapitiya Teaching Hospital in Sri Lanka was exceptional. The doctors, nurses, and staff were remarkable, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and kindness. The hospital environment was notably clean, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a reassuring and pleasant experience, making me confident in the quality of care provided.

Government controled free healthcare providing genaral hospital and it is the best hospital around southern province. With experianceed doctors and helpfull staff and modern theatres Able to do serious oparations succesfully. It is one of the best hospital in sri lanka.

Karapitiya hospital is the biggest hospital in southern province.Such a good service provide all of patients. Kindly all staff but some security guys and some of attendent staff rough 🙂

Last Saturday I was admitted to the Ward 21. I was so happy they treated very well. That word was clean and tidy and all the health team were active, kind ad friendly.I haven't seen any mosquitoes. Iike to thank all the health staff including medical doctors. I am Indranie Jayawardane . Bed 22, Ward 21.

The Teaching Hospital Karapitiya (THK) is the largest Tertiary care centre in Southern Province and it was established in 1982. THK is the main clinical training institute for the Faculty of Medicine, Karapitiya. It consists of 1560 beds and 54 wards and several other units.
