Prime Surfers Bungalow

A great place hidden away from Ulla and the main streets. (20min by scooter or tuktuk). The location is great, rooms are big, clean with AC. The bathrooms have private/outside showers that are great to refresh and still be in the nature. Richard is great in managing, giving help and suggestions and make you feel like in a family. Arus also helped us a lot with any request we had. ⭐ if you want a place to chill, relax and surf the northern points this is a deal. I would give 6/5 if there was 🤟

A hidden oasis in Arugam Bay. It’s in Whisky Point, so perfect if you want some peace from the main town (20 min by scooter or tuktuk). And if you surf it’s closer to the quieter, northern spots…so better imo. ;) Richard manages the place, and he has a wealth of stories and hidden spots to explore. I’d stay longer if I could! Very sweet dog and cat roam the property as well. ❤ Much love to Arus & Richard for having us here.

Our plan was to stay 1 or 2 nights but we ended up being there for 6 nights. It’s very quiet and friendly place. Richard, who runs the place is a great and helpful guy! He managed everything we needed and it felt like home for us. ❤

We stayed here for 4 nights. So silent and relaxing area, it’s perfect to flee from busy partylife in Arugam Bay. There is A 5min walk to the whiskeypoint beach, where you can spend the whole day on a sunbead, a small shop is 15min. walk away. A scooter is helpful but for catching the next bus you can have a 20min walk to mainroad also, there is a bus driving to Pottuvil and Arugam Bay.
The best is: It’s up to you to spend your time alone relaxed or you must never feel alone because Richard is always around and up there for a chat. He care about the beautiful garden area and help you planning as well as he is cooking delicious meals together!! It’s very familiar and we’re always surprised about his knowledge, we could talk for hours. There is no unfulfilled wish left.
There are 5 houses with private hammock and Terrace but you feel not disturbed from the others. The house is clean, have a good working AC & the absolute highlight is the Indoor-Outdoorshower - absolutely great experience.

The location is quite and peaceful. Directly located at whiskey point surf spot and an natural calm beach. You rarelly meet other tourists there.

Arus and Richard are awesome guys! Super kind, super flexible and they really took our holiday to a different level with all their tipps, tricks and experience!

The resort itself is the most beautiful resort in this area. Pretty sure about that! We checked a few other resorts for lunch and no one was on the level of Prime Surfers Bungalow. They put so much love and effort in that project. You feel this with every bit and piece.
The bungalows are pretty well equipped with a good AC and an awesome outdoor bathroom! And all is absolute clean :)

The terrace and garden is awesome :)

We will definetely come back and I can definetely recommend to stay at this place!

Is was amazing. Hotel is clean and everything is brand new. Has an air-condition. Stylish bathroom. Friendly owner and staff. Close to the beach. Close to Whiskey Point and to Pottuvil Point surf spots. Absolutely quiet.

Brand new place. Absolutely quiet and calming, perfect for chill and long stay. Very well planned rooms, unique design, eco friendly materials. Good caring staff and friendly helping owner. 200 m from the sea.

Peacefull location .. feels at home gets you in your own rythem .. laid back cook your own kitchen acess .. ' hard working host ...

Sehr entspannte Lage. Etwas weiter nördlich von Arugam Bay. Alles sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.
Super netter Gastgeber. Sehr viele Tipps für die Gegend.

Волшебное местечко. Очень красивая территория, комфортные, милые домики с верандами и гамаками, в некоторых домиках очень крутые открытые душевые комнаты с тропическим душем под пальмой, это мэджик. Есть все что нужно: Кондиционер, большие кровати, пространство для работы, общая кухня со всем необходимым инвентарём и новой посудой.
Прекрасный хозяин Арус, добрый интеллигентный человек, который мгновенно реагирует на все просьбы и решает все вопросы. Приветливый персонал, все чисто. Есть стиральная машина. Это огромный плюс.

Nice and clean rooms, shower slightly open air but also very clean. AC working properly and a beautiful yard. The owner puts a lot of work and passion into the place.
If you are looking for a surf camp style stay, this will be the one for you. But if you also want some privacy (especially outside your bungalow), this might not be the right place.
