Riva Del Sole

Stayed for two nights and its was an absolute gem of a place. Hosts were ever so helpful and would go out of the way to make the stay comfortable. It felt homely the moment you go in and they make sure it do feel home.

Walking distance to the beach with no crowd disturbances. Food was amazing too. Sri Lanka rice and curry is a must try ...

We stayed only for a night & it was a great stay. Rooms were beautiful & clean with enough space on it. Bath room equipped with hot water. Owners were very friendly & helpful. Good quality food items with great taste.
Beach is in walking distance & the whiskey point & the lagoon too in a walking distance.

We had planned a trip to arugambay on a spur of the moment and were so lucky to have found this place!
What a warm and welcoming stay! The staff was so friendly and treated us like family. The rooms were spacious and clean.
The food was exceptionally flavourful and filling.
Our pre planned one night stay turned into two nights because of our wonderful experience here.

We had a wonderful stay at Riva Del Sole. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Wildlife is all around you, we saw crocodiles and elephants without booking a tour.

Very clam and beautiful place.. Teasty food and very pleasant staff and management.. Really hope to visit again.

DELICIOUS FOOD AND VERY GOOD SERVICE!!

We came around at lunch time. Nobody else was in the restaurant for lunch, but they opened the kitchen and made food just for us. What we got was the best vegetarian curry we ever had after three weeks in Sri Lanka.
We ordered without chili, because we are both no big fans of very spicy food and it worked out very well!
The brought us the most delicious vegetarian curry we had so far.
The amount of food was far enough for two and the prices are absolutely reasonable!

The service was also very friendly, attentive and polite!!
Good communication in english.

Amazing family restaurant with delicious food (try peanut-cheese kottu ☺🤤) and drinks. Chill atmosphere and nice music. Movies nights. Play pool. Service is friendly and fast.

Hotel rooms are very stylish and cozy. We stayed a week and didnt want to leave. All we needed was there - AC, wifi, hot shower, garden.

Highly recommend this place for comfy stay near the Whisky Point surf spot and yammy food.

Nice and calm place, Closer to beach and World class Arugam Bay surfing sites. They make good food .Ample spaces inside. No issues with parking .Super value for money. Will visit again.

Riva del sole was the Best place we'd stay in Sri Lanka! The owner and his team were just so lovely, warm and kind! Everyone does his best to make an unforgetable stay for us!

Even though it was beginning of the season we were treated with very good and personal service. The houses are very clean and modern. Just a couple of minutes to walk down to Whiskey Point.
