Great Sheraton Astana hotel, everything as expected. Not much you can write about the standard great 5 star hotel with standard great amenities and standard great or very good service. Perfect for business travellers. Good location as usual.

Pleasant Stay with Friendly Staff, Great Amenities, and Convenient Location

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a business trip, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of this establishment is undoubtedly the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.

The rooms were well-equipped with all the essentials, including an iron station, toiletries, and reliable WiFi, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. However, there were instances of dust in several places, which was a minor disappointment.

The spa facilities were good, although it tends to get crowded during peak hours. Nevertheless, the location of the hotel is perfect, offering a nice view and easy access to Abu Dhabi Plaza shopping mall, where you can find everything you need.

In conclusion, this hotel provides a pleasant stay, particularly for business travelers, with its friendly staff, great amenities, and convenient location. With some attention to detail in housekeeping, it could easily become a top choice for visitors to the area.

My stay at the Sheraton in Kazakhstan became an unforgettable experience, thanks to the extraordinary kindness of Adelya, the hotel concierge. In a moment of crisis, Adelya went above and beyond to help me when I fell ill with food poisoning.

Late at night, on her only day off, Adelya accompanied me to a hospital far away, translating for me and ensuring I received the necessary medical attention. Her selflessness and genuine care turned what could have been a frightening experience into a journey marked by compassion and security.

Adelya's exceptional hospitality extended beyond her role, making me feel like I had a family member looking out for me in a foreign country. Months later, I'm still grateful for her unwavering support and the kindness that made my trip truly wonderful. Adelya is not just a concierge; she's a guardian angel who embodies the essence of exceptional hospitality.

The Sheraton Astana is probably one of the nicest places to stay in Astana. It's reasonably new, the rooms are nice and the location is perfect.

The staff are extremely nice and friendly.
The food in Emilia restaurant is really good. If you like a different setting, you can go to Salter's restaurant, where you can also just sit at the bar and watch the bartenders turn cocktail mixing into an art. Erbol and his staff are top and will guide you through the menu.

If you can use the business lounge, Maria and Yekaterina will welcome you with a big smile and make you feel at home.
The hotel also has an excellent spa area with a big pool, sauna, hamam, gym, etc. The massage treatments are great, and I can strongly recommend Aiman as a therapist.

From the reception, both restaurants, the lobby bar, the lounge to the spa, the staff are super nice, friendly and helpful.

It's definitely a great place to stay!

The food and beverages that they served in the lounge are excellent. The staff especially Olzhal and Aruzhan are extremely helpful and friendly. Olzhal went all out to help my hubby solved his SIM card problem.

The front desk staff are friendly and helpful too. I needed small notes for tips. The staff was willing to change for me.

The housekeeping staff kept my room clean n tidy too. Replenish the toiletries too.

Definitely keep up the high standard of Sheraton.

We got a good deal as conference participants. The food at the restaurant was very good, though there were very few local specialties. The facilities were perfect. The room was very comfortable. The temperature control almost made us forget that outside was less than 20 degree centigrade. Walking to close-by landmarks was difficult given the weather and the snow. At the tenth floor I got a nice view of a nearby mosque and shopping center.

From now on my favorite hotel in Central Asia and the best Sheraton I have been to.
Very good staff, good recognition of Elite status, modern and excellent facilities, and the best thing: the Club Lounge with its staff. I am so happy to see that the Sheraton Astana has not decided to cut cost on F&B there like other hotels. Please keep it this way.
I will be back for sure.

The great reviews here are all true - I came to attend a conference and was so pleased it was at the Sheraton.

The rooms are lovely and it’s well located, but it’s the wonderful staff that make it - everyone went out of their way to help on the smallest of things. It’s a very young but absolutely wonderful team. You’ll be in good hands 😊😊

I love this hotel. I like apartment room with living room & kitchen. But be ready in this rooms not included plates 🍽, glasses for drinks 🍷, fork, nife nothing. Only standard teapot, coffee machine, caps & tea spons
+ Is comfortable location.
In the same building from the other entrance shopping center. On back side building night club bla-bla-bar.
+ Nice & testy breakfast, usually its not included to room price. U can pay on check in time, or later on entrance to restaurant, or order to room
+ Spa center including few different pools, hamam different rooms. U can enjoy here few hours 😜 with children and friends
+ Free underground nice car parking

This hotel is perfectly situated in the city center. Close to the golden mile and not far from the river where there is an abundance of nice restaurants. The hotel staff are all amazing, friendly and super helpful!! There is a very nice lounge located on the second floor where they serve soup for lunch and in the evening a variety of very delicious diner snacks with alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks.
Downstairs you can find Salters steakhouse. A super cozy restaurant with a very nice interior where they serve delicious meals such as steak, prawns, diver scallops ( my favorite), ceviche… The bartenders there prepare you the most wonderful cocktails ( please do try the old fashioned 🥳, it’s amazing!!)
Last but not least there is the spa of the hotel. Very nice swimming pool and top of the notch spa area with hammam, sauna and relaxing area. There are also different massage options and the massage therapists really do a superb job getting the tension out of my muscles!!

Loved this hotel. Ironing facilities are available in the room. Nice and comfortable king size bed. Rooms are quiet and sound proof.
If you stay in club member room, do not forget to go to club lounge at the 2nd floor, where breakfast, lunch, dessert and snacks, alcohol drinks are served and free. Alco is served till 21:30.

I had an excellent stay at the Sheraton Astana Hotel! The hotel is modern with large, comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet runs until 11am, perfect if you want to sleep in. The spa is fantastic with a large, heated indoor pool, the biggest sauna I have ever seen and steam rooms. It’s a must visit, especially in winter! The staff are all also very friendly and nice.

The location is also great. The hotel is right next door to Abu Dhabi Plaza, which contains many restaurants, cafes, stores and a supermarket. On the other side of the hotel is the Baiterek Tower monument. A perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Astana.

The Sheraton in Astana is a first-class, modern hotel with a friendly and excellent staff. Special shout-out to the excellent wait staffs at both restaurants (smiling at you, Tatiana) and the great staff up in the Club Lounge (thanks Olzhas, Tatiana and Ekaterina). I stayed for 4 weeks and will definitely stay there again when I return to Astana.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. Most hotels can be comparable in the ambience and location etc but what sets this hotel apart is the friendly staff. Everyone from the bell boy to receptionists to the servers makes you feel at home. Assemgul, Aliya, Bekulstan, Arilym, Gulsezim and Dias are just a few names to mention for the excellent hospitality.
Location is very central as it is adjacent to the famous Abu Dhabi plaza. A visit to the spa and pool is highly recommended during the stay.

I was really impressed with my stay at Sheraton Astana. I stayed there with my family for 3 days and it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had! The staff were super respectful and friendly. They made sure I was comfortable as it was my first time in Kazakhstan. Overall, I enjoyed the delicious food, clean rooms, amazing SPA, convenient location and so much more! The room was comfortable enough, only thing I found was not clean spoons next to the coffee cups. The rest was fine.
