Baitarek-Tower is one of the tourist highlights of the city. It is located directly in the center. Per adult you pay 2000 tenge to go to the top. The view is beautiful, but very yellowish due to the tinting of the windows. At the top there's a small café and the possibility to put your own hand in the stand-up. One should not plan more than half an hour for the stayThe monument from outside its outstanding.
Inside you have to go thru a metal detector and buy the tickets to go to the third floor which is the highest floor.
Once up there you can see the whole city (or most of it.)
You will be at the sphere literally.
It’s all about the unity of the religions, lots of very interesting thing about this place so download the offline translation for Kazakh and Russian if you want to understand. Though the building has free WiFi.
Everything you find at the souvenir shop you can also find outside 4 blocks away for 90% less of what you buy there.
So don’t be fooled.

During a visit to Astana (now Nur-Sultan) in 2008, amidst a time of significant urban transformation, I had the pleasure of exploring the Baiterek Tower. Although the city was still under construction, the tower itself stood out as a beacon of architectural splendour. The panoramic views from the top of Baiterek are truly exceptional, offering a bird's eye perspective of the capital's evolving skyline. The tower not only provides a magnificent view but also symbolises the growth and ambition of Astana. A visit to Baiterek Tower is undoubtedly a highlight for anyone keen on appreciating the dynamism and character of the capital.

Pretty sweet as towers go. Very basic in terms of available attractions inside, but the views are nice, entry price is not high, and not too crowded. Recommend.

A characteristic monument of Astana, that offers a stunning view of the whole city. There's a nice cafe at the top of it. The ticket is around 4€ for adults. A must visit when in Kazakhstan!

One of the most popular monuments of Astana. Sometimes long waited line to get inside, but good to see Astana from the top. Entry fee to go top is 2000T, with small cafe.

Visiting Astana/Nur-Sultan’s landmark should be on your to do list when visiting the capital. As a lot of other buildings it presents itself in a very futuristic manner. The building itself is 97 meters high, reminding of 1997 when the capital was moved and the building was opened (at least that’s what we heard). It has 2 things worth noting inside, first the golden handprint of the former president where people (including us 😁 ) take pictures for good fortune as well as a mark of some religious beliefs to demonstrate Kazakhstan’s openness to the world (our interpretation)

Very smart architecture. Beautiful view. Incredible building with lots of surprise. Inspiring. I could fully enjoy the visit yesterday evening thanks to Dara, an employee who provided me with great explanations. Very nice!

I think the windows could be a bit more clean though...

Thank you!

This monument is one of the main attractions of Astana. I love the symbolism of the monument (The Life tree) as it represents the vision of the country and its projection for a bright future. The view at the top of the monument is breathtaking, I went there during the sunset and it was really amazing.

This is the main attraction of Astana. There are certainly drawbacks and places where it is necessary to improve, but in general it does not worsen the impression of visiting this place. The building is beautiful and there is a place to sit fashionably. The ticket price is not chip, but it is comparable to the prices for visiting museums for tourists in any famous city in Europe. In the winter Baiterek seems to me more beautiful. I still do not understand what the legend about the bird is, but people call it funny, Egg of Na))))
Recommendation for visiting from me.
Good day

Very interesting. Definitely worth to visit. The entrance fee to the tower is not even 2 euros. Small shop with gits, elevator. View of the whole city from the top of the tower. Recommend.

Visited my son in Astana last year. Couldn’t get enough of the Tower. Took a good two hours up and inside to appreciate the views and interior designs.

Walking along the roads leading to the tower was amazing. The surroundings are so peaceful, modern and gorgeous. A must go in Astana!

Definitely must see if you are visiting Astana.
Nice views during the day, amazing show after sunset.
There is a light show, between 8-10pm I think, and it is sooo nice.
Staff is helpful and friendly, and the entry fee also, really great.
Absolutely worth it.

A must see in Astana, but obviously you can't miss it either.
A real icon in the middle of the planned city with a great story of samruk and the egg.
97 metres to signifify 1997 - the gear Astana became capital.
You can go up to the top to view the city. Though at night the gold tint makes it hard to see clearly.

I loved the fact that it was the center peace off Astana and it was made in relation to the Soviet Union when they finally were released from all the troubles in 1997 so they decided to build this in 2003, at 97 meters tall it shines bright as the center off Astana. Very nice to catch sunsets while on top and a great architecture to get photos beside!😁
