Galmart

Almost you can find everything in this market. Prices are average. Not so high not cheap. I liked specially food sector of the market. There was tons of good stuff. Inside is super clean and products are high quality.

One of the largest shopping malls in Almaty with all famous brands and a decent food court.
Galmart supermarket is good here and the offers are more attractive

It is a nice grocery store in the one of the largest shopping mall in Almaty city. It resembles mostly US version of Ralphs or Vonz (Pavillions) or UK version of Tesco or Sainsbury for upscale food. You can find almost everything. It is a slightly pricey but very convenient due to parking. They speak basic English.

This supermarket is extremely good and modern! Has any product you may desire from a supermarket. If you are from America reading this it’s quite comparable to a Whole Foods (ironic since Galmart sounds like a rip off of Walmart), but a little less healthy, as Whole Foods only offers organic foods. Overall good supermarket.

The cosmetic section was the amazing thing I saw in the whole of Kazakhstan

Convenient supermarket that is not too big. It is always clean and sell items that other places don’t. I like the variety of goods. You can find nice utensils and bathroom stuff. Bakery and confectionery goods are quite expensive but worth its value. I love their chocolate napoleon cake and buns. This is not a low cost supermarket.

Wide variety of goods at a reasonable price, but fruit and vegetables are a little overpriced.

A very nice place to shop for house hold stuff.. as an Indian in Almaty . Few stores are actually very friendly to shop as a foreigner..one among this is Galmart ..the staff so helpful ..always with a smile.. have seeked der help many times and got positive response..
As far as shopping stuffs are concerned.. everything is available.only negative point is cost factor.. it's actly costly as compared to Magnum and small.. and aclty is justified as it's inside Dostyk.
Food items are superb... especially diff croissants and chicken fry... I always go there to have some chicken dishes and also to get croissants

Best chain of mart in Kazakhstan. Everything you need under one roof

This is one of the biggest branche. Good variety of products in every line. Due to the fact that you can buy everything for your home in one place, prices are normal. It’s expensive if you compare it with local small markets.

I like the style of this mart and the fact that I can also get some items im used to back in the U.S. It is very easy to navigate the mart and promotes a good flow so that everyone isn't all bunched up or running in to each other. Has so much here.

European! Quality products. Quality of meat is the best zi have come across in Almaty. Excellent service. From home decor to food.

Liked pastry here and some salads, prices are higher but what did you expect from galmart, sometimes can find here some exotic drinks(for kz)
